My name is Katie, and I've been capturing weddings for 14 years. My goal is to capture your day authentically, without worrying about instagram trends or taking up all your precious time with elaborate photo setups. I want you to get to live your day, enjoy the real moments, and spend time partying, not modeling!

I will take charge during formal portraits, give you simple but beautiful posing tips, and then fade into the background to document every little moment and detail from your day. Details and formal portraits will be editorial and carefully composed, and the rest of your day will be captured in a documentary style.     one of the best vendors we booked!

    Katie was one of the best vendors that we booked for our wedding. The pictures she took are gorgeous and are one of our treasured mementos of what our day was like; she documented so many aspects of it that we’re able to relive our day by looking at them! She struck the perfect balance between “classic wedding shots” (getting ready, first look, and portraits) and documenting the whole day. She was professional and knowledgeable, working with the coordinator to make sure we captured some fantastic golden hour shots without disrupting the schedule. As a professional, she was super responsive via email and text, communicative and helpful in suggesting pose ideas and places for our engagement shoot, and felt like a family friend in interacting with our other vendors, wedding party, and family on wedding day. She was also super adaptable in wearing multiple “hats” on wedding day, from helping some of us get ready to even helping with bustling the wedding dress (a true hero in the moment!!). Katie truly is the best at what she does, and she helped make our wedding day a memorable success that we can always look back on!

    Amazing Photographer and Beautiful Wedding Photos

    Perfect day!

    My husband and I held a small and intimate wedding at my parents’ house with a very relaxed, unstructured timeline, and Katie was extremely flexible and went above and beyond in capturing our favorite moments! I’m so appreciative of her creativity and talent in blessing us with such beautiful photos, and she was fantastic to work with every step of the way!     Katie was amazing to work with! Our wedding was on 10/11. We met with her once before when we first booked to share about our event. She asked great questions and genuinely wanted to get to know us. On the big day, she helped us feel at ease in front of the camera and captured who we are for both the formal shots as well as the more real candid moments. She is incredibly kind, knowledgable about her craft, and professional. She delivered photos in a timely manner and we even got a few sneak peeks a few days after the wedding. Our family and friends loved the photos and we couldn't be more happy with the results. And as a queer couple, finding vendors that are accepting and lead with love can be a challenge- we felt totally free to be ourselves which made everything even more special. Thank you Katie! Absolutely! All final images will be edited for color, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful and are ready to print. My goal is to keep the edits true-to-life, while also maintaining a clean, editorial look.
8 weeks is the maximum time you'll have to wait. But I can often get them to you sooner, depending on the season!
I typically take and edit 50 to 100 images per hour. My average wedding produces ~1,000 final photos for you to enjoy and relive each moment of your day.
In my 10 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve photographed every single event I've booked! In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues of equal or superior skill. If they cost more than I do, I will cover the difference. You shouldn't have to stress or worry about having your day captured.
I do! If your venue requires a certificate of liability, let me know and I’ll send that over to them.
I try to keep costs as low as possible for my awesome clients. The vast majority of weddings I cover do not require an extra shooter to capture everything, so you shouldn't have to pay that extra cost! However, some weddings do benefit from a second shooter, so we can absolutely include one if your day will be better captured by two photographers!
