About this venue
French for “little estate,” Petit Domaine is the first of its kind in Virginia, focused exclusively on sparkling wine and features a refined tasting room, a curated food program developed under the guidance of Michelin-Starred Chef Eric Ziebold, and a limited-production sparkling portfolio crafted by Head Winemaker Shai Van Gelder. During the initial years while its own estate-made wine is in production, the winery has partnered with a premier cru Champagne house to produce its wines which include a Brut, a Blanc de Blancs, and a Rose. With an elevated hospitality philosophy, a design-forward tasting room, and outdoor event spaces ideal for weddings and celebrations, Petit Domaine offers a fresh, modern take on Virginia wine country.

Elevated, Elegant, and Exceptional
In October 2025, we hosted our engagement party at Petit Domaine, and it was the perfect daytime celebration. We had a group of about a dozen dressed to the nines—suits and dresses—and arrived via a private chartered shuttle. J is a phenomenal host who always provides elevated, thoughtful, and attentive service. Knowing October weather can be unpredictable, he went above and beyond by reserving spaces for us both inside and out. Because it was unseasonably warm, we spent the afternoon in one of their semi-private covered outdoor lounge areas with comfortable couches. The food and sparkling wine were fantastic, and J’s welcoming hospitality made the classy event absolutely unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Milestone Birthday Celebration
We celebrated my husband's milestone birthday at Petit Domaine, and it couldn't have been a better experience. The winery is beautiful, the sparkling wines were fantastic, and the staff made everyone feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Everyone had such a great time, and our guests are still talking about it. If you're looking for a special place to celebrate with family and friends, I definitely recommend Petit Domaine. It was a fun, relaxed day that we'll always remember. The photos we took with the lovely backgrounds and scenery will be photos that we cherish forever!
