DJ Grant

Grant Kuhnsman, who performs as DJ ARIA, is a critically acclaimed, award-winning DJ from Washington, DC. He began creating mixtapes and curating his music collection at a young age. By his teenage years, he was introduced to the turntable and learned how to beatmatch by ear with vinyl. Since then he has sharpened his skills and proven himself as a bona fide Open Format DJ that has performed at numerous venues across DC, Maryland, and Virginia (The DMV) logging over 500 wedding receptions, corporate events and private parties in his career.

His open format style is versatile, yet familiar as he is comfortable mixing Top 40/Pop, House, Electronic, Hip-Hop, R&B, Throwbacks and International music. In addition, as a member of the elite Club Killers Crew, International DJ Alliance, his sets include feel-good tracks, exclusive remixes and mash-ups produced live. As a true performance DJ, his sound is musical with active transitions in and out of songs for a high-energy live mix. Today, he is regularly booked at DC Metro area venues, travels to perform at special events and hosts the open format radio mix show, PLAY Radio.
