Hi there, I'm Melissa, but I go by Lissa. Welcome to my little corner of the internet- I'm so glad that you're here! I know that wedding planning can be a daunting process but I'm here to help navigate you through all of the craziness that comes with planning a wedding. I'm your planning BFF and hype-girl from the moment you get engaged to cheering you on as you bust a move on your wedding day! As a wedding planner and bridesmaid (x 10), I've seen pretty much every crazy scenario and I've got your back no matter what because you deserve the best experience possible!

I love learning about what’s most important to you and your partner on your wedding day and incorporating that into all of the unique details. I’m here to help make planning fun and easy so you can actually ENJOY your day without the constant anxiety of worrying about what will happen if something goes wrong because we've got this! If you're a fun-loving, down-to-earth couple who love dogs, Saturdays at the vineyard and finding the best place for takeout.

Lissa is awesome, responsive, knowledgeable
Lissa was awesome to work with as our part time wedding planner. We had a great experience working with Lissa! Lissa was organized, responsive, and incredibly knowledgeable. We live in California, so it was very helpful to have Lissa's understanding of the DC area wedding scene. Lissa had a great list of vendor recommendations and coordinated seamlessly with all of them, so we didn't have to worry about it. She kept us focused and stayed calm, giving us confidence that she had everything handled (which she did of course). On the wedding day, Lissa and her team were exceptional. They kept the timeline running smoothly, kept us in the loop on the schedule, and allowed us to enjoy the day with family and friends. Lissa was great at planning the wedding before the wedding day, but she was even better on the wedding day, which was really important. Being care free on the wedding day was a big help and very nice! Lissa is awesome, and I'd definitely recommend her. We are very grateful we worked with Lissa for our wedding!

Partial Planning Package but Full Support
We did partial planning while both working full time, and we worried about balancing it all — but Lissa's team made it easy. They were reasonably priced and went above and beyond at every turn: knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to chase down the vendors we wanted. Our coordinator, Erin, was brilliant. Organized, on top of every detail, and someone we trusted completely. When she had to step out at the last minute, Juliana picked things up seamlessly — her attention to detail was incredible, and she coordinated our day-of activities beautifully. Thanks to this team, our wedding day was everything we hoped for. Five stars without hesitation.

Lissa made our special day even more special
Lissa was an amazing part of our wedding, and it would not have been magical without her. Her expertise of the entire industry (including recommendations for additional vendors) was so helpful. She has an eye for seeing ten steps ahead in order to cover every part of planning, and her timeliness and organization is unmatched. She was a godsend on the day-of, fixing things before they could even go wrong. We especially appreciated how she customized her touch to match us specifically, as two grooms, to make us feel special in an industry that is often so centered on brides. Would highly recommend her to any couple!

Lissa is your go to coordinator!
I cannot say enough good things about Lissa and her team. To be completely honest, we didn't think we would need a coordinator- boy was I wrong! I don't know what we would have done without Lissa. Lissa was a life saver in every sense of the word. She worked closely with our vendors and was familiar with them in the wedding workspace. Her relationships with the vendors really helped put us at ease during the planning process. She was so knowledgeable about little details and we were able to turn to her when we had questions about what we should do. She was accessible in the time leading up to the wedding to answer our questions and made sure we never felt like a bother with our questions. Lissa had a day of timeline we worked through many times and she made it so easy to make edits and really make sure the wedding day was as easy and stress free as possible. On the wedding day itself - Lissa and her team managed the venue and made sure everything was perfect. Lissa was a perfect calming and encouraging presence before I walked down the aisle. This day truly was better because she was a part of it. I would absolutely recommend Lissa to anyone planning an event- she is amazing! Thanks again Lissa!
