You’ve said yes and now you're ready for a complete, stress-free planning experience. As your professional planner, I'll be your go-to person for any and everything wedding-related. From choosing the venue, creating a personalized style and managing the budget to hiring the best event professionals, creating detailed schedules and managing all the logistics on wedding day.

The partial planning package is great for the couple who needs some advice, management and occasional cross-checking from a seasoned wedding professional.

Day-of coordination is vital to the couple that has planned their wedding and is ready to sit back, be present and enjoy their big day. I am happy to step in as the point of contact to handle all logistics and details, and on-the-day tasks for you and your vendors.

    I can’t recommend Michaela and her team enough! From the beginning she was extremely responsive and professional and took time to get to know my husband and I along with understand our wedding vision. Even though we only booked her for month of coordination, she still checked in during our planning process and was available to text with quick questions. On the day of the wedding, she made sure that everyone knew where they needed to be and took such a weight off of my shoulders that even as a very Type A bride, I felt I could truly relax and enjoy the day! Our families all shared great feedback about their interactions with her throughout the day and she made sure vendors were aware my husband and I’s happiness was the number one priority. If you are hoping to have a stress-free wedding, definitely book Olive Oak Events!

    OO is the best!

    If you’re getting married on the Eastern Shore, we’d recommend hiring Olive and Oak without hesitation! From our first introduction call with OO, Michaela took the time to really get to know us, which made her advice feel thoughtful and personal rather than one-size-fits-all. She was incredibly organized, detail-oriented, positive, and kept us on track through multiple planning calls leading up to the wedding. She went above and beyond with everything. Her relationships with vendors throughout the Eastern Shore area were a huge advantage since we do not live in the area that we were getting married in. Michaela knew who to work with, gave us great guidance, and worked with us at every stage - from selecting vendors through reviewing/finalizing contracts, and then orchestrating everything on the big day. Our wedding was on our family property with more than 200 guests, so it involved coordinating a lot of moving parts across a dozen different vendors. She and her team handled everything seamlessly, which meant we got to spend the day with our family and friends instead of worrying about logistics. In addition to being a great planner, Michaela is one of the sweetest people you will meet. She radiates positive energy which is exactly who you want around through the planning process. It was the best day ever, and we couldn’t have done it without OO!!

    The Burton Celebration

    From the moment we booked Olive & Oak, almost two years before our celebration, we knew we were in great hands. Michaela was truly the best! Throughout the entire planning process, she made us feel supported, heard, and confident every step of the way. Since we weren't having a traditional wedding (we had actually eloped a month before our celebration), we weren't always sure how we would bring our vision to life. Michaela embraced our ideas from the very beginning, encouraged us to think outside the box, and helped create a day that felt so authentically "us." What really set Michaela apart was how far above and beyond she went. Because we hosted our celebration on a family property instead of at a traditional venue, there wasn't a built-in team to help with setup or logistics. Michaela arrived days in advance to help with décor, florals, setting up rentals and all of the little details that made such a huge difference. She stepped in wherever she was needed and truly became an invaluable part of making everything come together. On the day of the celebration, everything felt completely seamless. Michaela was on top of every detail, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy every moment with our family and friends. The day ran perfectly, and if anything went wrong behind the scenes, we had absolutely no idea, which is a true testament to how incredible she is. Beyond her incredible talent and organization, Michaela made us feel like we were working with a caring friend rather than just our wedding coordinator. She genuinely cared about us, our vision, and making sure our celebration reflected who we are. That personal connection made the entire experience even more special. Coordination involves the O+O team stepping in during the last few weeks before your event to oversee the plans you've already made and ensure they come together as intended. Wedding planning is a more comprehensive service involving mapping out every aspect of your event.
O+O welcomes and celebrates all love stories.
While I'm happy to suggest vendors I've worked with or that come highly recommended, the choice of vendors is entirely up to you as the client/couple. There is no obligation to use vendors I recommend.
I will provide you with a contract outlining all agreed-upon services, which both parties will need to sign. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remainder due one month prior to the wedding day.
