I like to describe my style as a thoughtful balance between creative and timeless. Anticipating and capturing moments charged with spontaneity, joy, humor, and magic are the roots of my passion. Finding and manifesting compelling light & compositions is the heart of my creative process.

2005 was the year I photographed my very first wedding, but my love for creating and journaling with photography began as a child when I was gifted my very own polaroid camera.. A Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in photography has proven useful in pursuing my passion, but nothing compares to the wisdom and experience I have obtained through photographing more than 300 weddings.

️️️️️ Photo dream team for weddings
Working with Rachel (owner of Rachel Smith Photography) and Brooke for my wedding was an absolute dream. Rachel is an absolute pleasure to work with, her attention to detail is perfection, and AMAZING with kids (my 3.5 y/o nephew was grumpy and didn’t want to put his suit on, she got him smiling and in a great mood). Her energy is warm and she is great with communication. We received highlight photos 10 days after the wedding and we received over 350! We expected 10-20. They’ve beautiful and we love them so much. We can’t wait to create our wedding album! Thank you, Rachel and Brooke!! ️️️️️

Rachel was an AWESOME wedding photographer!! From the jump, she made it so easy to figure out what kind of package we wanted for our day (and was even flexible with us when we wanted to change the package a few months later), had great prices, and had a fantastic energy. On the day of our wedding Rachel brought such a good vibe while we were nervous and antsy and helped us flow through a LOT of family photos super quickly. She captured so many beautiful details from our day that we will cherish forever. Her assistant Brooke was also great and so lovely to have join us on the day!

The BEST wedding photographer!
Rachel was absolutely incredible as our wedding photographer! She has captured not only my wedding but also my sisters' weddings and all our family photos, and over time, she has truly become part of the family. The engagement shoot was included, and it was incredible—she made us feel so comfortable and captured our connection beautifully. Her ability to make everyone feel relaxed shines through in every photo she takes. Rachel did an amazing job working with the kids, using a tiger puppet named 'Tigey' to capture the most perfect smiles and laughs from my nieces and nephews, which made for some of our favorite photos. What really stood out was how much fun she was to spend the day with! She brought such great energy and made the entire experience enjoyable for everyone. Thanks to Rachel, we have the most stunning memories to look back on. If you're looking for a talented, professional, and genuinely fun photographer, I can't recommend Rachel highly enough!
