Best Planner I've ever worked with

I've worked with many wedding planners in my career of photographing 250 weddings, but I can truly say that Your Day by Renee was by far the most organized I've ever experienced. (And most weddings are pretty organized!) Renee however went above and beyond. As a vendor going into this wedding day, I truly did not have one single clarifying question that I needed to ask. Every possible piece of information needed was so neatly addressed in the custom web page that YDBR creates for each of her couples. Her communication was so fast all year leading up to the event. I already had so many wonderful impressions and interactions with YDBR before the wedding arrived -- and then, of course, when the wedding day arrived YDBR was an absolute star. She was smiling all day long, chatting with guests and vendors, making sure everything was smooth and that every single person at the event was comfortable and happy. Not to mention, I knew she was freezing cold at this late season Vermont wedding, but again she was nothing but smilies and positivity. YDBR paved the way for me to make my job as the photographer as seamless as possible. I genuinely hope that we continue to work weddings together because she was just such an absolute joy to have around. 10/10 recommend!

I have now worked with Jessica both as a vendor for her wedding clients, and as a client of hers for my wife and I’s wedding. From start to finish Jessica does a phenomenal job of managing challenges, staying ahead of potential issues, proactively communicating, and taking great notes on check-in calls. Many times during our wedding planning process Jessica asked us about things we needed to start thinking about well in advance of when decision time was critical. This allowed us not to stress to much about decision making until the right times, but still consider things in advance so we weren’t blindsided by anything or forced to make any last-minute decisions. Jessica has a great network of vendors she has worked with but also does a great job integrating vendors she hasn’t worked with before. We had a mix of vendors she was and wasn’t familiar with for our wedding but everything ran smoothly on our wedding day, Jessica handled all the logistics so we could really enjoy our day! From the vendor perspective, I’ve worked with Jessica on several events and I can tell you as a videographer she makes planning extremely easy for the vendors participating in said event. She makes an incredible wedding website for each event that makes sure all the vendors have consistent information and up-to-date information. She also makes it easy for vendors to connect where it’s necessary to collaborate like the DJ and videographer or the caterer and the rentals team. Every wedding I have worked with Jessica on, including my own, has been a great success in large part due to her fantastic leadership, planning, and problem solving skill set!
