What started as a hobby has turned into my passion. My mom was my inspiration to begin turning my hobby into my dream job. I am self taught and have learned on the way how to perfect my edible art. Originally I branded as XoXo Cupcakes as cupcakes are what began my buttercream journey. I decided to reband our name to XoXo Cake Boutique to include the expansion of my business. XoXo Cake Boutique offers a variety of wedding cakes/cupcakes, special event cakes/cupcakes, and dessert bars featuring cake truffles, chocolate covered strawberries, cream puffs, and mini cupcakes. We specialize in custom flavors and decorative custom designs.

We love making sweet treats to put smiles on peoples faces. We are a mother daughter duo that learned our skills from the matriarch herself - grandma. Baking makes us happy and we love to see how our treats brighten your day.

At Sweet Greene Cupcakery we specialize in edible artistry to create unique and delicious desserts to make your event’s dessert table stand out. I was born into baking and while my love started as a way to satisfy my sweet tooth and cravings, it grew to a love of the artistry of baking, the experimentation of flavor profiles, and the desire to find new ways to design edible creations that were unique.

The Red Bandana is a happy, healthy little bakery in Bethesda, MD. We like to make people happy with celebratory dessert food but we don’t want to feel guilty about what we’re feeding them so we try to make it as good for their body as it is for their soul. Owner/operator Jaimie Mertz went to culinary school in 2011 with the plan to become a pastry chef, and a year later doctors put her autistic brother Jack on a gluten-free casein-free diet to try to help with some behavioral issues.

Although Pinch & Peck specializes in custom sugar cookies, the bake shop also includes rotating flavors of cookies, cupcakes and assorted baked items. Mike’s Gelato was started by Mike Mullinix in 2016. Mike spent a semester in Italy during college, and he fell in love with Italian culture and cuisine. After finishing college in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in business management with an emphasis on entrepreneurship, he searched for a new business venture to pursue. While a lot of gelaterias use premade mixes to cut cost and time, here at Mike’s gelato we take our time and pride into every scoop.
