Hi, I’m Mackenzie, the cake artist behind Mackenzie Rose Bakes! After a few years in corporate America, I made the leap to pursue what I’d always loved most: creating beautiful cakes that make celebrations unforgettable. I trained in pastry at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City, where I’m based. I love bold colors, intricate designs, and delicious flavors. Every cake is made from scratch with premium ingredients and designed around your vision, whether that’s a romantic tiered centerpiece with fresh florals or a classic cake with delicate vintage-style piping. Wedding cakes are personal, and I treat each one as a one-of-a-kind piece made just for you!

When you work with me, you’re working directly with the person designing, baking, and decorating your cake from start to finish. I’m extremely detail-oriented and put real care into every cake, from the first sketch to the final piped border. I’ll guide you through every step, from choosing flavors and design to coordinating delivery with your venue, so you never have to wonder where things stand. Because I’m building my business one couple at a time, I offer competitive pricing on wedding cakes without cutting corners on quality.     Mackenzie made my birthday cake espresso martini flavour, it was way more than I could ask for and a crowd pleaser! Would highly recommend getting a custom cake from her!!

    Mackenzie from @mackenzierosebakes surprised her sister Lindsey with a birthday cake on a winery road trip — baked and decorated at her sister’s place, then packaged so perfectly it arrived without a flaw. No smudges, no damage. Impressive logistics alone. The cake was funfetti, but the icing is what stole the show. Not too sweet, not too heavy — the kind you actually go back for a second slice. We weren’t the only fans either. The winery staff also raved and took her business cards. If you need someone who brings real skill and care to every bake, she’s your girl.     Mackenzie made my birthday cake this year! The consult was enjoyable and collaborative, and the cake itself exceeded all expectations. A gorgeous heart shaped chocolate cake with raspberry filling! Lastly, the piping style is so elegant and stands out from other bakeries I’ve seen!

    I loved the cake! We also had some of their delicious quiches which were light and delicious. Definitely a thumbs up experience!
