My name is Allison and I am a cottage wedding cake baker/designer based in New Market, MD and I am so excited for you to embark on this next exciting chapter in your lives. I have the best job in the wedding industry, cake making, and I specialize in bespoke, custom cakes that are specially tailored to fit you! I have been baking for forever but I decided to take the plunge into business in 2017. I did not go to school for baking, but I was trained in both professional bakeries & my home kitchen growing up ;-) Baking for others brings me great joy and I would love the opportunity to bake for you & your loved ones on your special day.

I offer a variety of services including, but not limited to: Consultations, Wedding Cake tastings, and Delivery to the venue Set up of cake and other desserts. Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming at times, so remember to breathe deeply and try to relax. You're here now and there's cake!

    Sweet Siren Cakes was a huge disappointment for our wedding day. While the owners were very friendly to deal with, we found that they were quite slow to respond to our messages, often taking over a week to get back to us. And when the cake finally arrived, it was a disaster - the cake itself tasted great, but it showed up a full four hours late! They were SO late they delivered the cake directly to our hotel room with no way to transport it from there. They completely ruined a huge part of our special day, and to add insult to injury, the owner had the nerve to try and waive the delivery fee as compensation. I would not risk my wedding by hiring this vendor - they are clearly not reliable or professional enough to handle such an important part of the celebration.

    Incredible!

    I cannot say enough positive things! From the consultation, tasting, customization, and delivered product, Sweet Siren Bakery was very approachable, accommodating, and made cake planning fun and easy! The flavors were phenomenal; we had a hart time choosing flavors because everything in the tasting box was amazing. Luckily, she was able to accommodate and let me pick two cake flavors. The cake aesthetic was better than I could have imagined. My guests were still talking about the cake the next day! Cannot recommend more highly’

    So Kind...

    Sweet Siren Cakes delivered a beautiful and delicious cake to a wedding at our venue. Allison drove 2 hours just to bring the cake here and lovingly set it up for the couple. She even brought cupcakes for the other vendors, which was so appreciated!

You can order here or through Facebook. Wedding cakes/desserts should be ordered at least a month in advance (or sooner). However, it never hurts to ask! If I am able to accommodate your request in the time given, I will be happy to do so :-)
I specialize in bespoke custom cakes! Each design is specially tailored to fit you and your partner. I love to see your inspiration photos as they give me a starting point, but I am also happy to design something special and unique just for you. I am able to do fondant and buttercream work as well as sugar flowers, cake toppers and other specialty design pieces.
The short answer is yes, most of the time! The long answer is as long as there is ample time to get the supplies or help needed to complete your order then yes, your order can be changed. This may change the cost of your order. I understand that guest counts can be higher or lower than expected and that is understandable. Most changes can be made easily. However design changes must be made AS SOON as you know that you want it done. If changes are made less than two weeks in advance, there is a change fee that will be added in addition to the cost of additional materials/time.
Free local pickup is offered including contactless options, in New Market, MD. The time will be agreed upon at the time that the order is placed. Delivery is also available and is priced based on the distance of your venue from me. Any cakes, two tiers or above MUST be delivered.
Products are made in a home kitchen and most contain eggs and wheat products. There may also be cross contact with surfaces that have come in contact with nuts or other allergens.
If the order is canceled more than 2 weeks before pick-up/ delivery, then monies will be refunded in full minus the cost of supplies already ordered for the cake. In the event of an emergency, full or partial refunds will be considered on a case by case basis.
