“Hiring Mike as our wedding DJ was one of the best decisions we made!! From our first meeting, Mike was professional and friendly, providing us with a lot of information and answering all of our questions. After we booked with him, he set up an easy-to-use app for us to select our songs, write notes about the reception, and communicate any special instructions. It helped us keep track of what to prepare and how to plan the timeline of our day since we didn't have a wedding planner. Mike also came to an in person meeting with our venue so he could be prepared for the wedding day, and he was completely set up and ready when we arrived for cocktail hour and dinner. “My wife and I were so fortunate to have picked DJ Torpedo & Co. for our May 2024 wedding in Georgetown. I feel music and the emcee often makes or breaks a great wedding, so I spent considerable time reviewing possible DJs to work with. We ended up going to DJ Addison, who at the time was considered a "first-year DJ." He exceeded all expectations. Addison was simply a treat to work with in the planning stages and was exceptionally on point and professional during the wedding day. He's funny but classy, professional but not uptight, willing to make on-the-fly changes, and kept the dance floor hopping during the reception. From his bridal party introductions to saying goodbye at the end of the night, he was simply great. Our wedding was moved inside at the last minute due to rain and he somehow relocated his setup on the fly and didn't complain or seem stressed during the chaos. DJ Torpedo offers a really wonderful music planning app that is easy to understand and pick your songs from ceremony to reception. The app has YouTube integration that allows you to easily assemble your playlists.
