    We have used Double E Entertainment for several of our daughter’s weddings and they have been phenomenal every time. The equipment is top notch, the staff are all kind and professional, and they definitely know how to bring the fun! I cannot recommend their company enough for weddings, parties, or any event where you would need a DJ and Photo Booth. Speaking of Photo Booth, I was so impressed with their technology to just text or email the photos as well as all the fun props! I would definitely use them again!

    Fantastic

    From our first conversation, Double-E Entertainment was clear about what they could deliver and stayed on top of every detail leading up to our wedding day. They nailed the music selection, mixing songs that got our grandparents dancing right alongside our friends, which was exactly what we needed. Beyond the DJ booth, they brought a photo booth and custom lighting that made our reception feel like a real event. Their energy on the night was infectious and kept the party going strong from start to finish. We appreciated how they went out of their way to add those extra touches that made our guests say wow. If you want a DJ team that's professional but knows how to have fun, Double-E Entertainment is the way to go.

    Guests are STILL talking about the dance floor!

    ​If you want a wedding where people actually dance all night, hire Double E. Elon was incredible. ​Right after dinner, Elon took over and kept the floor full until the lights came on. He played a great mix that had everyone out there, from our college friends to our grandparents. ​His announcements were clean, the speech timing was spot on, and he was never annoying on the mic. Plus, during planning, he was always quick to answer emails and super easy to work with. ​So many of our guests texted us afterwards asking who our DJ was. If Elon is free for your date, definitely book him!

We sure do! During conversations leading up to your wedding day, we will discuss your needs, preferences, venue set-up, sound and lighting needs, and other details to help make sure you have what you may need for your ceremony, cocktail hour, etc. We can even go over other opportunities for our services that you may be interested in (e.g. many couples request having a Photo Booth at bridal parties or additional services for additional cultural wedding ceremonies and celebrations).
ABSOLUTELY! Not only is this a requirement of the venues who allow us to help make your once-in-a-lifetime celebration amazing, but we leave nothing to chance. Your and your guests' personal safety, the safety of whatever location we find ourselves working in, and even the high quality equipment that we invest in all deserve to be protected in case of some unexpected occurrence. When setting up our equipment, props for photo booths, lights--anything that we bring, it's more than making sure that everything looks nice and sounds good. We prioritize making sure that our set-up is safe, tidy, and professional looking.
There is absolutely no cookie cutter style to any Double-E Entertainment event. The style is dependent on your needs. We have Spanish speaking DJs, DJs experienced in a variety of culturally diverse musical and cultural celebrations or desires,(in comparison to what some may consider a traditional American wedding). Our "style" is professionally, capable of adapting to whatever crowd is set before us, and as different as individuals are different.
Yes. In addition to have DJs from a variety of cultural backgrounds, all of our DJs are highly qualified to perform and serve people with different cultural, religious, ethnic musical preferences and needs.
This depends on a few factors. Some events require a longer set-up time than others, especially those that require additional services like trussing and backdrops, TV screens for montages or other projected images, separate sound system set-ups. Some venues may need DJs and/or Photo Booth set up before wedding ceremony guests arrive. Other factors can dictate when we will set up. These are details that we work with you to iron out before your big day. One thing you can be sure of is that we are committed to being set when expected and ready to get started on time. Excellence is our standard every time.
Typically, travel and break-down is included in our pricing. There are times when people request that we travel a bit further outside of our typical working region. When that happens, we may request compensation based on potential hotel costs, airfare or driving expenses, and additional time to drive. What we don't do is exaggerate these expenses. We'd love to discuss that with you live further outside of our typical travel region (for reference, we are located in Frederick, Maryland).
When it comes to pricing, we sit right in the sweet spot: we aren't the cheapest, nor are we the most expensive. Equipment doesn't keep an event going, expertise does. On the day of your event, your DJ/MC acts as the heartbeat and director of the room by ensuring events start on time and creating smooth transitions, by working hand-in-hand with other vendors so that no key player misses key moments, by reading the energy of the room, keeping guests engaged from the first toast to the last dance, and most importantly by working with you long before your wedding day so that what you want prioritized and celebrated is what we work to achieve.
