Savannah Wichman Coutros is the founder and lead designer behind Mountain Mama Florals, a full-service wedding floral studio serving DC, Annapolis, Baltimore, and Coastal Maryland. With a background in luxury hospitality, she brings the same care to every wedding: artful, garden-inspired florals built through a collaborative process that takes the stress off your plate entirely. Most florists hand you a package and a price. We build your floral order with you, line by line, so every arrangement reflects your vision and nothing surprises you on your wedding day. Every full-service package includes the ceremony-to-reception flip: during cocktail hour, we repurpose your ceremony florals into your reception so your investment goes further. On your wedding day, you're the guest of honor. We handle everything else.

Absolutely Amazing Florals!
Savannah and Mountain Mama Florals did an absolutely outstanding job with the flowers for our wedding!! She was so attentive to every detail and perfectly brought our vision to life. She was very communicative, responsive, and transparent throughout the planning process and made everything so easy and stress-free. She worked within our budget to deliver beautiful floral arrangements that captured the color, style, and overall vision that we were hoping for for our wedding. LOVED working with Savannah!!
As a bride and former wedding coordinator, I can honestly say Savannah from Mountain Mama Florals is an absolute treasure! From the moment we started working together, her kindness and genuine care made the whole process feel so special. She was patient with all my questions, open to my vision, and took the time to explain floral details I didn’t know much about — making me feel completely confident every step of the way. One of the most touching things she did was go above and beyond to over-process my favorite flower, the stargazer lily, so I could have it in my bouquet. We had someone very sensitive to strong smells, and I thought I wouldn’t be able to include it, but Savannah made sure it wouldn’t bother them. You can truly feel how much she cares about her clients and how deeply she loves what she does. That kindness meant the world to me — and my husband loved her just as much! On our wedding day, the florals were nothing short of breathtaking. I received so many compliments, and it was all thanks to Savannah’s incredible talent and heart. She took our vision and brought it to life in a way that was even more beautiful than I dreamed. Throughout the entire process, Savannah was responsive, respectful, and simply a joy to work with. Mountain Mama is the Queen!
We loved working with Savannah and Mountain Mama Florals for our wedding! At the beginning of wedding planning, we felt a little directionless and undecided about our decor. When we consulted with Savannah, though, the vision became so clear and so authentic to us. She asked great questions to help us understand what we wanted, and then she created the most gorgeous arrangements imaginable that brought our vision to life. She also works with a nonprofit that repurpose any arrangements you don't keep; that meant our wedding flowers were donated to a local hospital the day after our wedding, and brought joy to others who needed some joy. The BEST!!!!
Savannah is the absolute BEST! From our first phone call through our planning calls and our wedding day, she perfectly executed our vision. I'm not a flower expert by any means, but I had a vision and I was able to convey that to her and every detail was perfect. She was also extremely responsive, professional, and so helpful on the day of. I couldn't recommend her enough to any couple looking for an amazing florist to work with on their wedding day!

A dream to work with!
Working with Savannah was an absolute dream! From our very first conversation, she completely understood our vision and helped bring it to life in the most beautiful way. She was incredibly easy to work with- responsive and always willing to offer guidance when it came to both the aesthetic and budget. Her expertise made the entire process stress- free, and the final arrangements exceeded all our expectations. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, and our flowers were truly stunning.
