We aren't typical deejays, but elegant mixers that make your event the party that everyone raves about. We don't specialize in one style of music, we specialize in YOUR style of music. We aren't crazy about cheesy songs that some people think will get everyone out on the dancefloor. We want to have your guests party it up all night, jamming to all the wacky, fun, and eclectic songs that you are obsessed with! Grandma will be getting down to Lil Jon while all the kids sing to the classic tracks that their parents raised them on! We can't wait for you to shake it on the dancefloor with us!

Recommend Michael Ramos from District Remix!
We interviewed several DJ companies before finding District Remix, and they stood out from the very first call. We were impressed by their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine enthusiasm for understanding our vision and creating the atmosphere we wanted. They recommended we work with Michael Ramos, and it was a great fit. Michael used the playlists we created to mix together English- and Spanish-language music, from a cocktail hour and dinner with indie folk, Latin pop, Americana, country, and more to a dance floor with salsa, cumbia, Latin pop, reggaeton, top 40, and 2000s and 2010s throwbacks. Michael was attentive and executed our vision perfectly. He brought our "hora loca" to life, and our family and friends kept the dance floor packed all night. Thank you, Michael!

The Best Power Hour(s) of Our Lives
If you're on the fence about your wedding DJ, stop looking and book Jacob from District Remix. From the first time we met Jacob, we knew we were on the same wavelength. He immediately understood the atmosphere we wanted to create throughout the night, from a vibey dinner reception to an absolutely packed dance floor. He's incredibly professional, easy to work with, and genuinely knows his music. Jacob met with us several times leading up to the wedding and was always open to our ideas. We gave him a list of songs and different genres we loved, and he took it to another level by creating an incredible "Power Hour" set. He seamlessly mixed our songs with others that perfectly matched the vibe, keeping each song to around 90 seconds or less so the energy never dropped. I can honestly say there wasn't a single moment during that set where I wanted to leave the dance floor. Every transition kept people engaged, and the dance floor stayed packed. Beyond the music, Jacob was excellent on the microphone. He was professional, clear, and never overbearing. He knew exactly when to step in and when to let the music do the work. Looking back on our wedding, hiring Jacob was hands down the best money we spent on any of our vendors. He didn't just play music, he helped create the energy and memories that made the night unforgettable. We couldn't recommend him more highly.

Chesapeake Bay Beach Club
We absolutely loved having District Remix as our DJ for our wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club! Jason was so easy to work with and paired us up with a DJ he thought we would like the best based on the music we were looking for at our wedding. DJ Don Hood was amazing! Jason made a perfect match. Don was so easy to work with and walks you through the whole process! He was helpful with making a timeline for the evening of and listened to all our music requests. Don was very professional and great with communication during the planning process. He helps put you at ease! Everyone was on the dance floor all night long and were saying how amazing the music was! I can't recommend District Remix enough!!! DJ Don was great!!

DJ Michael was amazing!
After a long search for a DJ, we found District Remix and was matched with DJ Michael Ramos. Most importantly, we had a PACKED dance floor and everyone had such a good time! We also booked uplighting which made for a really fun vibe and great photos. Michael really listened to what we wanted and made it happen. Highly recommend District Remix!

District Remix and specifically Michael Ramos are truly experts in the field. I don’t even know where to start on this. The admin team at District Remix is incredible and so flexible and easy to work with. They are very responsive via email and phone. They went out of their way to accommodate us and asked us what we wanted and needed for our big day. After just one phone call, they then matched us with DJ Michael Ramos and the match could not have been more perfect. DJ Michael Ramos was fantastic. He made the planning process so fun and easy. We honestly didn’t even have to give him that many specific directions. Just from having a few conversations with us, he learned us and our “vibe” and ran with things from there. The night of our wedding was so lively and energetic and everybody had a great time, thanks to DJ Michael Ramos. He read the room incredibly well, all night long. Once the dancing and partying started, it didn’t stop. He also did incredibly well with helping with speeches and intros and transitions, etc. His equipment was top notch as well. We got so many compliments and people asked us to share his info with them so they could use him for their own events. We cannot thank DJ Michael Ramos enough or give him a high enough rating.
