Petals and Promises, LLC was established in 2005 by Lisa Sommer out of her love of flowers and a desire to explore her innate creativity. In her encore career, she has studied with some of the world’s most prestigious and influential designers, including Holly Chapple, Steve Moore, Robbie Honey, Ariella Chezar, Kianna Underwood, Shane Connolly, David Beahm, Karen Tran, and Maxine Owens. Petals and Promises is a member of the renowned Chapel Designers and has been named The Washingtonian's Best of Vendor from 2016-1026. Petals and Promises serves Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia

I think the one thing that has made me successful is my belief that I can connect with a bride and interpret her thoughts and vision for her wedding-day floral designs. Working in the area of Health Care Sciences for many years taught me the importance of listening carefully to my clients. It is a skill that I have used with every wedding I have designed!

Stunning Florals & Wonderful Team
