Hi! I’m April. 😊 I’m the Owner and Lead Coordinator behind Chrysalis Memories. I’ve always been someone who loves celebrating life’s biggest moments. Whether it’s a wedding, baby shower, birthday, or family gathering, I believe the memories we create together are what matter most. Chrysalis Memories was created to help couples and families enjoy their special moments while I handle the details behind the scenes. I’m a hopeless romantic, a creative at heart, and someone who genuinely loves helping people celebrate life’s milestones. I’m so excited you’re here. 💕✨

💕 Why Weddings? Because every couple has a story. I love watching all of the little moments that happen throughout a wedding day—the happy tears, nervous smiles, laughter with family and friends, and the excitement of starting a new chapter together. Being trusted with such an important day is something I’ll never take for granted. For me, it’s about more than timelines and logistics.     Beautiful baby shower for my son!

    I had the pleasure of having April plan my baby shower, and I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful experience. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and the decorations were absolutely stunning. The event was organized perfectly, and you could see the love and effort April put into making the day special. I am so grateful for her hard work, creativity, and dedication. She truly helped create memories that I will cherish forever!

    When my daughter and son-in-law gave me a birthday party for a milestone birthday April was a huge help. She organized, bought favors, help design the layout of the table decorations. Also, April was responsible for setting up the event (between snows) and helped with the cleanup. During the party she was there to make sure the food hadn't run out and everything stayed organized. There were many great memories from this party and April was responsible for most of them. I was very pleased with the result and I will have April Johnson organize the next big party we have.

    April is awesome

    April is the number one reason why the big party I was throwing was a huge success! It was even better than I could have imagined. While planning April had a lot of great ideas that made the party that more interactive and fun.Everyone had a super time.April and her team took care of every detail.     Chrysalis Memories Delivered — Literally!

    I was a DIY bride through and through and quite proud of it. I have years of event coordination experience, I'm incredibly detail-oriented, and I know exactly what I want and how to execute it. I was convinced I didn't need a wedding coordinator and I could handle it all myself. I was wrong.... As the wedding date drew closer, the weight of it all hit me at once: managing vendors, finalizing design details, coordinating family flying in from out of state, and somehow getting myself together for the biggest day of my life. It was too much! At the gentle nudging of a friend, I reached out for help. April at Chrysalis Memories answered the call — and I will forever be grateful that she did! From the moment we connected, April was EVERYTHING! She jumped in immediately, listened carefully to my vision, asked all the right questions, and helped me identify the gaps I didn't even know existed. She is patient, kind, and incredibly professional — the kind of person who makes you feel completely at ease even when the stakes are high and family members want to share there "helpful" opinions. And then she delivered. Literally. When we ran into issues with our baker, April didn't just problem-solve — she personally met with the baker, resolved the situation, picked up the cupcakes that were running late, and had them assembled and beautifully displayed before a single guest arrived. That moment told me everything I needed to know about who she is. She also wrangled my wonderfully chaotic crew of friends and family who wanted to help decorate — and somehow managed to coordinate people of every personality type, age, and background into one seamless, cohesive effort. They adored her. Honestly, so did everyone. My only regret? Not hiring April sooner! She made everything feel effortless, joyful, and exactly what I had always dreamed of. All of the little details that mattered to me, mattered to her. My husband and I had the absolute best day of our lives — and so much of that is because of her. If you're on the fence, consider this your sign. You seriously won't regret it!
