At Purely Poppy Events, I help couples feel organized, supported, and fully present throughout the planning process and on the wedding day itself. I’m Mckenna, the owner and lead planner behind Purely Poppy Events. With six years of experience planning and bringing events to life, I combine thoughtful planning, clear communication, and a calm, detail-driven approach to make sure every moving piece is handled with care. My goal is to take stress off your plate, bring your vision together, and create a seamless celebration that feels personal, joyful, and unforgettable.

After planning my own wedding from start to finish in August 2025, my passion for events only grew stronger. It confirmed what I have always known: I love creating celebrations that are meaningful, beautiful, and thoughtfully executed. As a natural over-organizer, I bring energy, precision, and creativity to every event I have the privilege of being part of.

From concept to execution, we manage every detail including vendor coordination, design and styling, rehearsal, and day-of management so your wedding unfolds effortlessly, elegantly, and memorably.

A collaborative planning experience designed for couples who have begun their wedding journey but need a bit of extra help. As the months unfold, even the most organized plans can start to feel overwhelming but this is where we step in. With the Purely Premier Package, we provide hands-on support throughout the process, to help bring your vision to life and ensure that every moment is magical.

Perfect for couples who have thoughtfully planned every detail but want the freedom to truly enjoy their wedding day, the Purely Essentials Package ensures a seamless and stress-free experience from start to finish. We step in during the final stretch to review and refine your timeline, confirm and manage all vendors, and oversee every on-site detail from setup to ceremony to reception.

    A Perfect Day!

    Working with Purely Poppy Events was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From our very first conversation, everything felt organized, exciting, and completely stress-free.     The Best Friend I Didn’t Know I Needed

    My wedding was an absolute dream come true and it would NOT have been possible without McKenna! From helping me brainstorm and finalize my overall colors and aesthetic to being there the day of with hair pins and stain remover wipes whenever I needed them. She took care of all of the stress and let me just enjoy my day!

You’ll be working directly with me as your lead planner throughout the entire process. I will be your main point of contact and the one assisting with your vision from start to finish. On the wedding day, I also bring along a trusted assistant to ensure everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes. This allows us to be in multiple places at once, support your guests and vendors efficiently, and make sure every detail is handled with care so you can fully enjoy your day.
Yes, I do! In addition to weddings, I’m happy to plan and coordinate other special events like bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, and more. Whether you’re looking for full planning support or just day-of coordination, I can help create a seamless and beautifully executed experience for any part of your celebration.
Most couples book 8–12 months in advance, especially for peak wedding seasons. However, if your date is approaching, feel free to reach out! I’ll always do my best to accommodate based on availability.
I take a calm, detail-driven, and personalized approach to every wedding. My goal is to not only execute your plans flawlessly but to create an experience where you feel supported, present, and genuinely able to enjoy every moment.
