I am a wedding planner certified by the Wedding Planning Institute at George Mason University. I am based in Springfield, VA, and work throughout the DC, MD, and Loudoun County, VA. As a fun-loving, adventure-craving 20-something, I am also your girl for destination weddings at any spot on the globe! I discovered my passion for wedding planning while designing my own. I would get comments about how "on top of things" or "how organized," and I soon began receiving requests from other engaged couples. I quickly discovered the joy of creating that special day that people have been dreaming of their entire lives and, soon after, launched SWP.
After planning more than 200 weddings, I have had the unique opportunity of working in nearly every aspect of an event — from planning to catering, florals to photography. I strive to make the process as enjoyable and seamless as possible. I plan and run your event with not only you but also your vendors in mind. I give them the time and tools needed for them to give you the best service they can, making your event run as perfectly as possible!

Awesome Experience with Macy and her team!
We were looking for a wedding day-of-coordinator in our local area, and upon our first interactions with Macy, we knew that she was right fit for us. Macy's personable approach, really getting to know us and what we were looking for, and always being open to answering questions and being transparent about everything was a large part of us feeling very comfortable with working with her. We were able to utilize the guest and table layout tools that Macy makes available, and it was very helpful to be able to share that with her so she could coordinate directly with vendors and not need us to drive those conversations. There was so much that Macy helped to coordinate behind the scenes in the weeks leading up to our wedding day, it helped things to run incredibly smoothly. The rehearsal day was well run, with Macy walking us through what everyone in our wedding party and families needed to do and where to be - and this translated over to the actual wedding day itself, where Macy and her team helped to communicate with everyone, ushering people to the right spots, blocking and tackling folks from inadvertently going into the getting ready areas, and generally helping with all of the setup and teardown and keeping all of us on schedule. We can't speak highly enough of Macy, and many of our guests were truly impressed with how smooth everything ran. If you're looking for a wedding coordinator or planner who will truly have YOUR vision and best intentions in mind, definitely reach out to Macy!
Wedding Planning
I couldn't have done it without Macy and all of her support! Macy was a pleasure to work with from the beginning, and it was clear how dedicated and passionate she is about her craft. The entire process leading up to the event felt seamless, and on the day itself, we felt completely at ease knowing we were in such capable hands. She was even able to help me when I noticed a huge stain on my dress. Macy cleared it up right away and was very calm and reassuring throughout the entire process. Having Macy there made a huge difference, and we’re so grateful she was a part of our celebration. Macy's professionalism, creativity, and warmth helped create an unforgettable experience for us and our guests. Anyone who works with Macy will be in excellent hands. Thank you again for everything. We chose Macy from a list of preferred vendors and when I tell you I am SO glad I chose her.. I really am. She made the process so easy and smooth and the very detailed checklist up until that special day was very key. I loved working with Macy and she made dreams a reality at our wedding 2 days ago!
