It’s no secret that we’re totally spoiled living here because NYC offers some of the most incredible food—and dining experiences—in the world!

“We originally worked with Johnny for our engagement photos, and those turned out beautifully. Engagement sessions are included in the wedding package, and we were excited to have him photograph our wedding. Unfortunately, Johnny had to cancel just two days before our wedding due to a family emergency. While we understand emergencies happen, we wish he had informed us sooner, as we would have tried to find another photographer in advance. Johnny mentioned that he had been canceling on other couples over the previous weeks. He provided a replacement photographer Julee, but our experience with her was extremely disappointing. Many key moments were missed, including our first kiss, and the group photos were poorly composed some with light bulbs in our faces. Several images were blurry, dark, or had strange color lines, as if taken on a phone. Guests even commented that she seemed to be standing around rather than actively photographing the day. Overall, very few of the photos were usable, and the moments we wanted to remember were lost. When we expressed our disappointment to Johnny, communication was slow and inconsistent. He initially offered edits, which he provided after some delay, but even with his editing, the photos were still not satisfactory, and we had to do additional edits ourselves. The only usable photos we have are those taken by our guests. Johnny did eventually issue a full refund, though it took 5-6 weeks to receive it. While his engagement photos were excellent, our wedding experience was extremely disappointing and stressful due to the last-minute cancellation and the poor quality of the replacement photographer.”

“If we could, we’d give him an infinite amount of stars because he deserves it! For starters, when my now husband and I were looking for a photographer, we were looking for someone who would capture our vision. Something outside of the ordinary and completely non-traditional. We stumbled upon his website and work. Boy, Oh boy! I was left speechless. Each piece I saw of Zorz just told a story! A story of love, definition, purpose, and, most of all, happiness. They were vibrant yet moody. Exactly down my alley. I instantly told my husband... “He’s the guy!!’ So we booked him INSTANTLY! Fast-forward to the first photo shoot. To give you an idea of what I wanted, I wanted to capture a nontraditional engagement photoshoot that steered away from the typical wedding photos. We opted to trash the dress.
