Hello! Thank you for visiting my page. Candid moments, humor and a refined eye are the hallmarks of my photography. Hard work, experience and a love for what I do make it all come together. Born in Minnesota I road-tripped to New York City some 15 years ago to pursue my photography dreams. My then-girlfriend of 2 weeks, Lisa, was riding shotgun in the U-Haul. Fast forward to today and I am blessed to call Lisa my wife and Brooklyn our home. We have two wonderful girls, Ava and Ruby, that bring me endless joy. I’m hopelessly addicted to tennis!     Doesn't get better than Josh!

    I'm a professional photographer and took well over 6 months searching for our wedding photographer. Josh was the 'winner' by a landslide. Initially I never thought I'd want a male photographer but as soon as we met I instantly felt so comfortable in his presence, I knew I and everything else would be extremely well 'taken care of.' He was SUCH a great presence and so professional, courteous, respectful, fun and got ALL the shots I ever could have dreamt of. A lot of wedding photographer's work looks the same to me, but Josh perfectly captured OUR wedding with all it's quirks, beauty and amazing moments. I found, when looking for a wedding photographer, you want someone you'd like to spend an afternoon and/or evening with (because, well, you will be). And Josh is that and then some. He's a genius photographer, a true master at his craft, in fact, stop reading this and just book him now!

    Josh is by far the most professional, creative, and easy to work with photographer ever!!!! He does an amazing job capturing all the little moments of your wedding day that you'll treasure forever. The grandmother's smile, your dad tearing up when he sees you in the dress, the partner's face when you walk down the aisle, your best friend's listening to the toasts, that hidden kiss from your new husband ... the list goes on. If you want the specialness of your day captured with an artistic eye who knows how to get those shots -- (vs. endless posed couple shots) then Josh is the photographer for your wedding. Can't recommend him enough.

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Yes! In most cases I bring my trusty 2nd photographer Steve. He’s been working with me for years.
Definitely! And all by me! No outside editors are used. Continuity is key here. From beginning to end I’ll handle every aspect of your wedding. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful.
Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding.
I do not offer video but do have a great list of top recomended videographers.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of shooting. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do at no additional charge! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my 12 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to shoot your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
Yes! I have curated a stylish selection of beautiful albums customizable to fit your wedding. Albums start at $1500 with a typical finished album costing around $2000.
