Working with Hannah was one of the best parts of our wedding planning experience. We hired her for partial planning, and from the very beginning, she made everything feel so manageable and stress-free. She really took the time to understand our preferences and helped us find the perfect vendors that matched our vision and vibe. Hannah was always organized, responsive, and incredibly helpful. Whether it was hopping on frequent Zoom calls, keeping us on track with timelines, or replying to texts with thoughtful advice (even for the tiniest of questions). Her calm and kind energy made the whole process not only smoother but also more fun. One huge bonus: her team also offers wedding rentals! We rented candles, décor, and a large seating chart from them, which was such a lifesaver. We didn’t want to deal with sourcing all of those items or figuring out what to do with them afterward, so being able to rent directly through her made everything so much easier. Our wedding day went so smoothly, nothing went wrong (or if it did, I had no idea, because Hannah was on top of everything!). I wouldn't change a single thing about it. It was truly perfect, and a big part of that is thanks to her. Now that the wedding is over, I honestly feel sad I won’t get to work with Hannah anymore! We used beautiful Crazy, specifically Connie as our wedding coordinator/planner through the entire process. It was very early on in our 12 months of planning, that we knew we needed to have a coordinator. My wife is very Type A. And I knew we needed to find somebody who could also match that level of detail and structure. Connie exceeded our expectations. We had many meetings during the year of planning, even some where she was sick and still willing to get on a call with us. She always came to every meeting prepared and ready to go over every little detail. It provided myself and my wife a lot of ease because we knew that Connie had it. Everything was laid out in a document very easy for us to reference. Every inspo picture, every color choice, every vendor, and every moment in the timeline all laid out very easy to see. During the planning phase, she was fantastic! Then the day of our wedding arrived. A day that has a tendency to be filled with some stress and anxiety before the wedding even starts, but me, I had none. I was marrying my best friend, and I knew that the wedding was going to go perfectly smooth because Connie was there. She took care of setting everything up, communicating with vendors, having drinks ready for us as soon as we entered the reception, and even going as far as making our plates of food. Before the event started, she came up to me and immediately asked if I needed anything, asked how I was feeling, and told me if there was anything I needed to let her know. She also told me, that we were her third event of the weekend, and she hadn’t slept from the event the night before, because they had to get in the car and drive a few hours to us. But you couldn’t even tell. Her dedication, her commitment to the couple, and the attention to detail far exceeded our expectations. She helped deliver what is now one of the most magical days in both of our lives. If you’re looking for anybody to help out with your wedding, to make your day even more special and to hopefully take some stress off of you, I cannot recommend enough beautiful Crazy, specifically Connie!

Simply Elegant Group was by far my favorite vendor! Every single person we talked to from Lindsay Mackey, their amazing manger and our first contact to the hotel-block assistant was a joy to work with, communicative and helpful. The workbook, spreadsheets, and connections with other coordinators and vendors made the whole wedding planning process more enjoyable and streamlined. We chose the Day of Coordination and are very grateful to have had Hanh as our wedding coordinator! Hanh is worth her weight in gold! With Day of Coordination we received not only ten hours of custom coordination from the wonderfully efficient and empathic Hanh, we also had the help of her assistant. This was perfect because someone was by my and my husband’s throughout the day. I loved that with SEG we had a whole team of magnifically organized, thorough and compassionate individuals to support us in executing our dream wedding. Once we had submitted our information Lindsay contacted us to go over all of the things included in wedding planning. She created a rough draft of our day of timeline and gave us access to our Wedding Workbook. They have templates for everything you will need for organizing your wedding and making sure you do not miss out on important, but often overlooked details. Two months before our wedding date we were connected with Hanh. From our first meeting throughout the whole time before the wedding and for the duration of our wedding itself Hanh was both our wedding angel and ninja rolled all into one. I had done a lot of the initial setting up vendors, but as soon as she could she took over as my contact person. This meant the vendors had to email/reach out to Hanh and left me feeling like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. From this point on I started to enjoy wedding planning.I love that she reached out to not only myself, but included my now husband and daughter in on a meeting. If there were any hiccups leading up to the wedding I did not know until they were already handled. On our wedding day, everything went smoothly for my husband and I and our family.Again if there were any mishaps my husband and I were oblivious of them and we had the best wedding ever! While we had selected the key vendors early on we hired her about half way through planning to finish up all the details, set the timeline and then be the woman in charge that weekend. She went above and beyond for us, always available, worked closely with our florist to make all the details exceptional! She was there throughout the weekend to make sure nothing went wrong. She stayed late and cleaned up getting us all our items back at the cabin. I cannot recommend her enough!!

The Get Together Events Co. (TGT) was the easiest and best (after saying 'yes'!) decision of our wedding planning process. We worked closely with Lauren (founder) until she did the "official hand-off" with our onsite manager, Kate, a couple of days before our wedding once all final details were in place. Kate had been included in all communications leading up to this and she didn't miss a beat. The hand-off was seamless! The spreadsheets, checklists, vendor emails and phone calls—everything generated by TGT—was so incredibly helpful in keeping us on track and not overwhelmed. They really helped us to be able to enjoy the last few weeks before our wedding by managing all of the vendor questions and final set-up details. Lauren's upbeat, friendly personality was wonderful as well! she could always put a smile on my face and made us laugh. On wedding day, Kate was our manager and Kristen her coordinator. There could not have been 2 more wonderful, sweet, attentive, helpful, thorough and just plain awesome people to be there overseeing everything like the magical angels that they are. They were both so helpful to my husband and me separately in the morning while getting ready, all through the day and night with making sure everything made it back to our hotel room...including packaging up food for a late night snack! They managed running our rehearsal with military precision and kept us on track time-wise throughout the wedding. We have no idea if there were mishaps "behind the curtain" as everything appeared to run seamlessly. I could list 1,001 other things they took care of for us. Our wedding was simply the best day of our lives (it's cliche for a reason!), and I'm confident in saying that it was so because TGT was there by our sides. Lauren, Kate, Kristen and TGT will always hold a special place in our hearts as we are so, so thankful for them. We cannot recommend The Get Together Events Co. highly enough. Thank you, TGT!

We first learned about Oso Events in the summer of 2022 while remotely planning our California wedding from the East Coast. From the very first introductory call, they blew us away with their professionalism, punctuality, warmth, organization, and excellence. Without them, our wedding would not have been nearly as amazing as it was! They found us fantastic vendors in the Bay Area like the food, HMUA, DJ, and server staffing company, organized our wedding day schedule, held regular video calls with us, got quotes from vendors, kept track of our budget and payment schedule with weekly updates, arranged set-up of the ceremony and reception venue, made sure our vendors got day-of tips, and more! The only thing that could be improved is that there was a specific deadline for event liability insurance that I and the planning team all missed initially. No harm was done though! The mistake was caught in time before it affected the event, and all went well! Michelle and Raymundo excellently identified what our energy levels as a newlywed couple would be like in the week leading up to the big event, and the day of the actual wedding. Raymundo directed our impromptu ceremony rehearsal, helping our officiant and party mark their places and signaling where/when we should stand and walk. Michelle checked in with the bride and the groom consistently throughout the night of the reception, asking if we needed water, food, or other drinks since we were often distracted by the festivities. They maintained effective communication leading up to and on the day of the wedding. Their decorations at the ceremony and reception were absolutely gorgeous and exactly what we wanted. At the end of the night, they managed takedown, and made sure all of the personal decorative items and remembrance photos we brought were conveniently all in the same box for us to take home. Through the yearlong process of planning, they dealt with last-minute logistical changes with incredible poise, and truly grounded us, allowing us to enjoy the day with free minds. The team even accommodated two of our guests who tested positive for COVID last-minute by setting up a separate table for them in the outdoor venue. We couldn't recommend them more highly. Not to mention, their BobaHolics boba bar was a huge hit and the photo booth was a lot of fun. We got a lot of mileage out of the sustainable decor inventory, which prevented us from having tons of wedding stuff on hand that we'd accumulate and need to resell after. The entire range of services offered by Oso is incredibly helpful and will make any event an absolute hit. We have loved working with the team and we’re so grateful they decided to take us on as clients at the start of their wedding planning journey.

Working with Miranda, Raquel, and Kylie was a true pleasure. Kylie assisted us at our rehearsal the day before our wedding, practicing the ceremony to ensure we understood the process and best practices for each bridal party member. Miranda and Raquel were there for us on our wedding date, helping set up decor, running to get breakfast for the bridal party, and being the point of contact with all our vendors. At one point, as the bride, I was getting overstimulated with all the pictures being taken in a short amount of time, and Miranda/Raquel had my back by making sure I had water and 30 minutes to center before our ceremony. I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! We worked with Sarah Rosier, proprietor of Sleeping Bee Designs, for our wedding in May 2025 at Attaboy Barrel House in Frederick, MD and the experience was absolutely fantastic! Without hesitation, we would recommend Sarah and her team to any couple getting married in the DMV area. Our wedding faced weather complications at the last minute, but because of Sarah’s planning, coordination, relationships with vendors, and upbeat attitude, the day turned out even better than we had dreamed! We met with Sarah for monthly planning sessions, and she was always willing to be flexible if we needed to reschedule or meet for longer than planned. We knew what general vibe we wanted for our wedding, but did not have a specific theme or vendors in mind. Based on her years of experience in the business, Sarah recommended 3-4 vendor options to us for each category that fit our vision and budget, and all of whom were used to working with one another and with Sarah, so they were able to pull off a flawless event! In the end, we made the final vendor decisions based on her recommendations, but her recommendations totally removed the guesswork for us. We never, ever felt as if we were being pushed in any one direction; rather, we always felt that Sarah had our best interests at heart. Sarah has a great memory and is very organized, so she helped keep us on track and made sure there were no loose ends. The master to-do list template she provided kept us on task and helped us break up larger tasks in a manageable way. She was also conscious of our budget throughout the process, foresaw logistical issues ahead of time to save us time and money, and helped suggest places where we could reasonably cut costs (as well as emphasizing to us which places required *not* cutting corners on cost to ensure a seamless event). One important value of hiring Sarah is her relationship with vendors in the area, and ability to communicate with them on the couple’s behalf. This made it so much easier to plan and saved us time. Sarah creates a detailed timeline for the wedding day and takes care of coordinating it with vendors and staff to ensure everyone is on task and on the same page about how the day will go. She was also excellent at communicating with our wedding party. Everything went so smoothly on the actual day! We also contracted with Sarah for our flowers/decor. We told Sarah we wanted to spend less money on this element and adhere to minimalist decoration, and Sarah identified a really fun and colorful approach using growlers, bunny tails, and candles. We loved the way it looked on the day! Finally, we were blown away by how Sarah handled the last minute challenges involved when the weather looked like it wouldn’t cooperate. We had planned to do our ceremony outdoors, but needed to make a rain call 48 hours in advance. Prior to the rain call, Sarah had already marshaled our vendors together to talk through contingencies, drafted an alternate schedule, and put together a decoration plan for our indoor ceremony location. We felt so taken care of and the extra effort helped make us feel comfortable with changing plans last minute. Our wedding party and family members even keep talking about how amazing she was to work with. Sarah is the best at what she does! Thank you, Sarah!

How much does a wedding planner cost?

On average, a full-service wedding planner can cost between $3,000 and $10,000. It depends on where you live and where you’re getting married. Should we get a wedding planner?

Planners are great resources and can make planning your wedding much less stressful. If you’ve got the budget, a wedding planner is well worth the investment. At the bare minimum, you need someone (hired or delegated) to help manage the event day-of so you will be able to enjoy yourselves without worrying about too many logistics. If you decide to enlist a friend or family member to take on this role, keep in mind that this person will need to prioritize your needs over their own, and will no longer be attending or enjoying the wedding simply as a guest.
