Hi I am Lisa with Cherish Your Vows! 5 Years ago I started this beautiful Journey after getting Married to my Dream Guy...unfortunately we didn't have the greatest experience so We both decided to help other couple's have an Effortless & Stress-Free Experience as possible! My Background was Corporate Events & Accounting, but I found my true calling making dreams come true for other amazing couples. My wonderful team assists make the process as stress-free as possible! I am not only a 3 Tier Planner, I implement Florals & Design, My Husband Is a Photographer and Videographer.

CherishYour Vows was an absolute pleasure to work with as our wedding planners. Their communication style was constant, enthusiastic, and generous throughout the entire planning process. They consistently went above and beyond, providing great value and being incredibly reactive to our needs. The team at CherishYour Vows consistently offered creative ways to make our special day easier and less stressful, serving as a true source of joy and bringing our family together in a wonderful way. I found Cherish Your Vows through a recommendation from my venue in the Keys and from the start I felt Lisa really understood the vibe I wanted for my wedding. She found me a great Dj and her husband handled the Video. I ended up also selecting Lisa for the florals and it was so beautiful. There's a lot of planning and meetings that go into getting a wedding put together... I learned a lot and could not have done it without Lisa. The wedding was beautiful and I am so thankful.

I have taken a few weeks to gather my thoughts regarding working with Cherish Your Vows. Firstly, I want to acknowledge that Jason did a great job as our photographer for both our engagement shoot and wedding. The one-star review reflects my experience with Lisa, our wedding coordinator. During our last phone meeting before the wedding, she was driving and repeatedly asked, “Remind me which wedding this is?” I understand that people are busy, but this didn’t sit well with me. She also continuously mixed me up with other brides during the planning process. On the wedding weekend, Lisa called to inform me that she had the flu. I completely understand that illness happens, and I appreciated her letting me know. However, during the call, she quickly referenced our contract, noting that she was allowed to send another trained wedding coordinator in her place. The person she sent was an assistant of Jason, so from my perspective, they primarily assisted with setup and then took photos. During the ceremony and cocktail hour, I essentially had two photographers rather than an active wedding coordinator. Jason also handled cleanup and closing out the night, but I personally felt that from the ceremony to the reception, there was no one truly running the event. Lisa had given me a lot of assurances leading up to the wedding, but I felt that the follow-through from the replacement team was lacking. For example, when my groom walked up the aisle with his mother, the aisle was still blocked off. The wedding DJ skipped our thank-you speech, signs / décor were in the wrong places, and several décor items Lisa had provided did not match what we had discussed in terms of design. Additionally, I had ordered a real floral bouquet from her, which was beautiful, but I noticed that one of the orchid stems was artificial — I had specifically requested and paid for all real florals, so this was disappointing. Thankfully, one of our bridal party member's wives stepped up and handled many details, including sending the bridal party down the aisle and signaling us - while the "wedding planners" were taking photos. One thing that confused me was that Lisa had mentioned having assistants on the wedding day. If that was the case, I wondered why none of those people were available when she was unable to attend. Overall, I still had a wonderful wedding, and the lack of her presence did not ruin my day. However, I would caution anyone considering Lisa as their planner to be mindful of professionalism and follow-through. I understand that illness happens, but in my opinion, the person sent as a replacement did not fulfill the role of a wedding coordinator. Additionally, as someone in the industry, I find it surprising that Lisa never followed up with me via email, text, or call after the wedding—it has been complete silence. There are many excellent wedding planning services in South Florida, and based on my experience, I personally would not recommend Lisa from Cherish Your Vows.

Lisa was my day of coordinator but she really went above and beyond for me, my fiance and our wedding. I had many breakdowns over the course of wedding planning as many things went wrong due to 2 hurricanes and multiple other factors. Through it all Lisa stayed calm and helped in so many different ways. She is so organized and handles it all, I could not have done it without her and our wedding came together beautifully and we had a complete venue change less than two weeks out due to the hurricanes. Lisa stayed calm and no one would have known that we had all these changes because everything went so smooth and looked beautiful! I cannot recommend Lisa enough, if you need a coordinator who is going to go above and beyond for you and be there for you with whatever you need choose her!
