Due to the amount of detail and personalization put in our illustrations, each artist can illustrate 1 guest every 10 minutes, or 6 guests per hour. If you would like to request faceless illustrations we can illustrate 8-10 guests per hour.
This decision should be based on what is most important to you. Is it most important to have every single guest illustrated and go home with their portrait? Then be flexible with the budget and choose the package that will cover every guest. Is staying in budget more important to you than every guest getting an illustration? Choose the smaller package and know most people will get an illustration. Also, I have discounted options of illustrating the remaining guests after the wedding in my studio and mailing them to you the week after the wedding! Many couples choose this option to save money and still provide everyone with an illustration.
The quote relates to the number of guests and how many artists are needed to illustrate that many guests. The quote does not relate to the number of illustrations. Each guest can only be illustrated once. They can choose to pose on their own, as a couple, or with any amount of people in a group.
Painted Ever After can do two different times. The best for large wedding is for us to be set up close to the front entrance before the ceremony. As people arrive we will introduce ourselves and get reference photos. This gives us a great head start and more time to illustrate more people. After the ceremony more people can come over, see the illustrations we've done, and want one for themselves! Alternatively, we can also set up before cocktail hour, after the ceremony is done, and guests can make their way to our table while mingling before the reception. In each option the artists will keep illustrating until the end of the night.
Painted Ever After offers live painting on canvas, creating the newlyweds first family heirloom on the wedding day. We offer live guest illustrations, in studio custom illustrations, Illustrations of the bridal party and groomsmen, bridal bouquet painting or illustration, custom invitation and thank you card illustrations and custom portraits for seating chart.
We are located in Dallas, Texas. We love both our local weddings and travel weddings!
This is highly dependent on if I am driving or flying, how many nights I'll need a room for, and if it will only be me or if other artists will be book as well. Please reach out anytime and I'll respond quickly with a custom quote.
