The Southern Planner is proud to have over a decade of experience in event planning and hospitality management as well as an exemplary track record of ensuring our brides’ wedding dreams come true. We are grateful to be able to serve brides all over the Southeast, and we look forward to the opportunity to serve you!
With extensive experience in event coordination and Catering Sales Management at both Marriott and Hilton Hotels & Resorts, we understand the intricacies of seamless event planning. Our diverse background also includes independently organizing and planning various weddings and events, showcasing our dedication and skills.

Great planner for wedding/events
We really enjoyed working with The Southern Planner team on a recent wedding. They were organized, easy to communicate with, and made the day run smoothly for everyone involved. It’s always a big help when the planner keeps things on track and makes sure all the vendors are on the same page. Looking forward to working together again in the future!

From the moment we first connected, Shelby and her team demonstrated a prompt, fun, and calming communication style that immediately put us at ease. Their dedication to our special day was evident in every detail - they were truly invested in ensuring our wedding was a success. Shelby's keen eye for timely, insightful planning meant I didn't have to worry about a single thing, and she even went so far as to literally keep my dress out of the mud during our photo session.
