The Southern Planner is proud to have over a decade of experience in event planning and hospitality management as well as an exemplary track record of ensuring our brides’ wedding dreams come true. We are grateful to be able to serve brides all over the Southeast, and we look forward to the opportunity to serve you!
With extensive experience in event coordination and Catering Sales Management at both Marriott and Hilton Hotels & Resorts, we understand the intricacies of seamless event planning. Our diverse background also includes independently organizing and planning various weddings and events, showcasing our dedication and skills.

Shelby was the best of the best!
Shelby made our day nothing short of perfect. I cannot recommend her highly enough! She was so thoughtful, kind, and good at her job. I am a very type A person, but it was so easy to trust her with our reception, friends, and family. Our celebration would not have been complete or gone as smoothly without her! If I could do it all again, I wouldn't change a single thing!

It was such a joy to work with Shelby! As a fellow vendor, I always appreciate when my couples have a strong and transparent planner and coordinator there to support them along the way. Despite the terrible weather on the wedding day, Shelby went above and beyond to make sure our couple got exactly what they wanted and things moved as smoothly as possible. She has a unique and beautiful attention to detail and timelines. I would be thrilled to work with her again!
