THE BEST OF THE BEST!
Like I dont even know where to start alex and I felt like we were BESTIES from our first consultation. Shes so nice and helpful taught me where I need to save and where i can splurge. Kept my budget on track and actually saved me over 5k!! Truly alex was just the best and her assistants are amazing also. All of her recommendations for vendors were top notch and amazing I CANNOT SAY HOW MUCH I RECOMMEND ALEX!! JUST BOOK HER ALREADY! LOVED MY DAY SO MUCH

Lacking communication
I want to preface this by saying that this was my experience and Diego did do what he was asked to do! I booked Laura & Co about 6 months into wedding planning because my venue had been through 3-4 different catering specialists and I was worried about who would be there to make sure the day went smoothly. Upon talking to Alexandra, she was very eager to work with me as a day of coordinator, contacted me right away after putting in a request on Zola, and I paid her the following day as payment is required upfront. After that, it was basically a downhill spiral. I assumed she had not contacted me because of the holidays so I waited until the new year and then some days before reaching out and asking when we could talk to get into details about my wedding. We had calls scheduled that I would not hear anything from her and then I would personally have to reach out. I cannot count the amount of times of text messaging of me contacting her first to get a text or call back. Multiple times calls would be scheduled and I would hear nothing from her so I would text to ask if she was calling me and she would have a different day scheduled or something. When I asked for a timeline of events for the wedding day, she got our wedding mixed up with another wedding and the timing was completely off. After telling her the time and date still the timeline made no sense and my hair/makeup artist basically ended up doing the timeline. Alexandra is very kind and I will say she always apologized and was very nice when I did speak to her. Sometimes it did seem as though she was in a rush to get off the phone and I did not feel as much as a priority as I felt I should have. Finally wedding day is a week out and I had a call schedule with her which did end up happening and I find out that she will not be the one attending the wedding… it was her assistant. Well I had never spoken to this person nor shared my vision with them and we were days away from my wedding! I just do not think that is professional in any way and not what I paid for. She had many stories of all the other weddings she attended but chose not to attend mine. She assured me that he would get the job done and she would put me in contact with him. The night before my wedding, again I had to reach out to her to ask if I could have his contact information for the next day aka the wedding day!! I should never have had to stress about that the night before my wedding. Diego her assistant did come and I will say he did exactly what was needed to be done and I appreciate him for that. However, I would say the whole experience leading up to wedding day was not enjoyable nor helpful in anyway and to find out the person you are talking to and paid isn’t coming to your wedding seems a bit ridiculous to me. On my wedding day I was talking with and meeting for the first time my “day of coordinator” which she had also told me that she would run a rehearsal with me and that did not happen. Neither her or Diego attended my rehearsal which is not what I was told or agreed upon. Just honestly was not a good experience and would not recommend to a bride who needs clear communication. This is my experience and I have the text receipts to prove all I am saying is correct. I appreciate that Diego was able to help my day run smoothly but I will say it was completely unneeded as everyone else helped out to make sure the day ran smoothly especially my HAMU and venue specialist.
alexandra lynn•Jul 8, 2026Hi Madison Upon seeing this review I reopened my text chain with you and all the texts that I have from you I respond to every single one on the same day you texted me with one time I missed a call... where I have also noticed that times I have texted you and you took 2 days to respond to me sometimes. I get it you are busy as I am also. Also in my contact it states you can have me or any other person working for my company .. also did you state why we ended up having Diego attend your wedding? nope I don't see that listed above but you needed your decor put out an d I had suggested since it was quite a bit to set up id prefer Diego to do it since lifting and doing a lot of stuff wasn't the best for me with my knee injury. Also I did create the group chat with you and Diego the night before the wedding, we did more than you hired us for as a day of coordinator and I have to disagree with my lack of communication because before responding here to you I double checked to make sure I didn't go long periods of not responding to you. I also did create your timeline however we were waiting on your hair and make up artist to give us her final timeline on how long she needed and when she would be done with her service that is not something I can do as I do not know how long it takes her to complete her job. I am in shock I am even reading this because upon speaking with you at the end of the night you said everything was great and there was no issues and almost 2 months later now there's a complaint? it just a little strange. Either way I know the service that was paid for was completed the way it was and we even went above and beyond and placed your chairs when its in my contract and I even told you we do not lift and place chairs but he did it anyways. I still send you my best wishes take care.

A truly magical day!!
We could not have been happier with Laura and CO events. The communication was always timely and so upbeat. The entire team were determined to make this a truly magical day from start to finish. We hired a planner so that we can enjoy the FUN parts of the wedding, the memorable parts, and not get stressed over the tedious behind the scenes checklist that make this day come together seamlessly. That’s where Alexandra and her team stepped in. They were so mindful of our budget and even had some AMAZING budget saving ideas. The vendors they work with are so professional. Our day was beautiful, from the way they set up the venue to the seamless transition between ceremony to reception. They were always doing the most to make sure we were happy, taken care of, and had the time to take it all in! Would highly reccomend

Amazing!!!
Working with Laura and Co. Events was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Laura stayed in touch throughout the entire planning process, answering every question and keeping us in the loop at each step. She really listened to what we wanted and brought our vision to life in ways we couldn't have imagined on our own. On the day of the wedding, everything ran smoothly and felt exactly like us. Our guests kept commenting on how personal and thoughtful every detail was. We couldn't be happier with how she made our celebration everything we dreamed of and more.

Disappointed
I feel obligated to share my experience so future couples can make an informed decision. I paid Laura & Co. Events for planning, decor, officiant services, and photography. Unfortunately, my personal experience was highly disappointing from both a service and professionalism standpoint. Our beach wedding was scheduled for 7:00 PM. On the morning of the wedding, I received multiple messages expressing severe concern about the forecast and potential damage to the planner's decor. While the planner mentioned potential backup spaces days prior, I felt that no meaningful, reassuring alternative plan was actually solidified or agreed upon. Instead of feeling supported, I spent a massive portion of my wedding day deeply stressed about whether my ceremony would even happen. The rain stopped before the ceremony and we proceeded on the beach, but the decor setup did not match my expectations based on our prior text discussions. We had previously discussed extensive greenery and candles, but what was actually set up on the beach felt incredibly minimal and sparse by comparison to what I believed I was paying for. The execution of other services also fell short for us. I was instructed to provide ceremony music through Spotify, but during the family processional, we could not hear any music playing from where we were standing, which deeply impacted the ambiance. Furthermore, despite providing a shot list ahead of time, the photographer appeared completely unfamiliar with the specific location, and the photography process felt unorganized and stressful to navigate on the day of. What disappointed me most was how my concerns were handled afterward. When I later attempted to discuss these issues and ask why the delivered services differed so greatly from my expectations, the planner became highly defensive, used insulting language in text messages, and threatened to report me for harassment simply for asking questions. When she claimed our prior text agreements didn't matter because they weren't in a contract, I reminded her that she never actually provided or asked us to sign a contract at any point during our entire planning process. No attempt was made to professionally resolve the issues. My advice to future couples is to insist on a signed, formal contract from day one, get every single specific deliverable in writing, and ensure you have a definitive, mutually agreed upon backup plan before your wedding day.
