    Great DJ and Easy to Work With

    I hired DJ Elixr to perform at my wedding. Super-friendly and collaborative on song selection and sequence for wedding. Put me at ease for big day. Everyone had blast. Thank you for making this process so easy.

I do take song requests and often play many of them. But I also filter requests I get from guests. So if I get a request for a song or genre that you’ve specified a “Do Not Play,” I won’t play it. But, on the flip-side, if someone requests a song that fits well with your vibe and music choices, the I may play it. It’s important to remember that I am an event professional. I know which tracks get the dance floor going and which ones may clear it out. And since I don’t just show up and press play on a pre-made set, I have the flexibility to react to the vibe of the crowd.
I arrive 2 - 3 hours before an event to familiarize myself with the venue. Setup my DJ booth and tests my sounds speakers.
Yes I carry general liability insurance.
I dress according to an event. For weddings a black suit and tie. For casual events, a dress t-shirt and jeans.
For events more than one hour from my location, I do charge a $50.0 fee to offset gas costs.
