A year ago, I was searching for a wedding planner and happened to come across the website www.forherweddingsandevents.com. I sent an inquiry and soon after received a response from Rachel. From the moment we began exchanging emails, I had a strong feeling I wanted to work with her and after our very first meeting, it became clear she was the right choice. Rachel is incredibly knowledgeable and truly knows her craft. She was professional, thorough, reliable, efficient, accurate, and dependable in every way. From start to finish, she demonstrated exceptional expertise, organization, and attention to detail. No matter what came up, Rachel handled everything with calm confidence, ensuring our day unfolded seamlessly. What stood out most was Rachel’s genuine care for her clients. She took the time to understand our vision, preferences, and expectations, and she made sure those wishes were always the top priority. She listened attentively, offered thoughtful advice, and incorporated our vision into every detail from décor to timing making the celebration feel uniquely ours. Her commitment to punctuality was also invaluable. Rachel understood the importance of keeping everything on schedule and managed the timeline, vendors, logistics, and décor flawlessly, allowing us to relax and truly enjoy the day without stress. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Rachel enough as a wedding planner. Her professionalism, genuine care, attention to detail, and dedication to timing made her an invaluable part of our wedding. Lemky and I are beyond grateful for everything she did to make our day truly perfect.

We were hired by the bride/groom to do videography and photography for a recent wedding at the Piedmont Garden tent. This was our first time working with Rachel, and she is AMAZING! Everything was flawless, every detail taken care of and communication was phenomenal. We can tell she put a lot of work and time into putting this wedding together for these happy newly weds. We have been on some weddings that are chaotic and disorganized and it really impacts the quality of the product we can delivery. So we are just so thrilled when we get to work with someone as professional and kind as Rachel! Hope to do it again!

My husband and I got engaged in May, and only a few weeks later we realized the planning process was becoming overwhelming. Since we had already booked our venue, we decided to hire Rachel as a wedding planner/day-of coordinator. At first, things seemed promisingRachel explained her process in detail, the contract was thorough, and she walked us through what to expect. However, we quickly learned that none of the packages truly fit our needs, and the level of support we thought we were hiring her for was very different from what we experienced. Throughout the planning process, while we did communicate with Rachel on and off, much of the hands-on work, contacting vendors, negotiating deals, site visits, and even basic follow-up, fell to us. We assumed that level of vendor management and legwork would have been handled by her, but it wasn’t. When we raised our concerns, Rachel did send a short vendor list, but communication and support didn’t improve much. Instead of taking stress off our shoulders, it often felt like we were still managing everything ourselves. In some cases, Rachel even contacted our venue on our behalf without discussing it with us first, which was frustrating and sometimes misrepresented what we wanted. On the wedding day itself, things unfortunately went downhill. While her team did help keep people on schedule and direct guests, right after the ceremony things progressively had gotten worse. Several of our guests commented on how abrasive Rachel and her team seemed, and there were moments where( Rachels sister / assistant ) was raising her voice at me, the bride. Her team even made announcements on the mic without our consent rudely to all of our guests. At times, it felt like Rachel was working more in alignment with the venue than with us, which left us feeling unsupported on our own wedding day. Final Thoughts: The biggest benefits were having someone keep the timeline on track and manage basic logistics the day of. Beyond that, the experience caused more stress than relief. If you are considering Rachel team, I strongly recommend asking very specific questions about what is and isn’t included in the package, clarifying exactly how communication will be handled, and making sure you feel confident she is working on behalf of you, not just the venue. Looking back, we likely would have just hired a simple day-of coordinator and saved ourselves a lot of stress. In Reflection ****** What we could have done differently as a couple: Asked more detailed, specific questions about what was (and wasn’t) included in the package before signing. Clarified boundaries on communication with vendors/venue to avoid misrepresentation. Trusted our instincts earlier and considered scaling back to just a day-of coordinator. ***Highlights of the experience: Having someone keep the wedding timeline on track and ensure the ceremony flowed smoothly.

Hi Aaliyah & Brent, Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m truly sorry to hear that your experience did not feel like the 5-star service we strive to provide every couple. As outlined in your contract, Wedding Management clients are responsible for inquiries, negotiations, and vendor communications unless booked as a partial or full-service client. I will act as point of contact, and help with vendor communications as we get closer to the wedding (around 30 days out). That said, I understand there may have been some confusion, and I made sure to meet with you directly to review your concerns and provide support where possible. Throughout your planning process, I remained available to answer questions, offer recommendations, and provide guidance on design and venue matters. When concerns arose with your venue, they called to work more closely and scheduled multiple meetings with you, and myself involved to ensure everything was addressed. I also made sure all vendors had the timeline, addresses, and details either email and/or text as contracted. Regarding the announcement about outside alcohol, I regret if this came across as harsh to your guests. Please know that as your coordinator, I am required to uphold venue, along with the City of Atlanta's rules to protect you from unexpected fines of $5,000 or more. My intention was never to disrupt the celebration, but to safeguard you from penalties that could have affected your special day. Our team is committed to treating every client and guest with respect, even in moments when emotions run high. In situations where tensions arose, my staff’s focus was on de-escalating to ensure the celebration continued smoothly. I have also spoken with my team to reinforce our commitment to these standards. It was an honor to coordinate your wedding day, and I truly wish you both continued love and happiness in your marriage.

From the moment I got an email from For Her Weddings & Events LLC, I knew I was in good hands. Their communication was frequent, polite, informative, and direct, which put us at ease throughout the planning process. The team was incredibly thorough, thoughtful, and meticulous in their work, ensuring that every detail was attended to. As the musician at the wedding, I can attest that the wedding planner made it easy for me and the other vendors to do our jobs, as she had her finger on the pulse of everything. She was always accessible and prepared with an answer, and it truly felt like she had everything under control. I am so grateful for the exceptional service and value provided by For Her Weddings & Events LLC, and I would highly recommend them to any couple planning their dream wedding.
