I'm obsessed with Charlene! She was a dream to work with. She brought such professionalism to our hectic event. We were planning a wedding at a personal property, meaning we had to supply every single vendor and she handled everything amazingly. She wrangled the vendors prior to the day of and she helped me keep my cool during the stress of the morning. You can tell she's a pro at this! There were times I felt a little underwater in terms of managing an event I had no experience with, and her demeanor was so calming and she handled any last minute things. Her background in planning events started in the nonprofit industry in 2004, when she was responsible for coordinating the annual Shake it for Shelter fundraising event at COMPASS for Kids for several years. At Cradles to Crayons, Sarah oversaw all of the organization's signature events, including the 700-person annual Backpack-a-thon and the largest fundraiser of the year, the "Un-Gala". Sarah also worked at Facing History and Ourselves, where she planned their annual 900-person benefit dinner and advised their ten company offices on event strategy and execution.

When we started wedding planning, the only thing I knew for sure was that I wanted day-of coordination support. After we toured Olio and met Sarah, booking with her team at Without A Hitch was a no brainer and truly worth every penny. Our coordinator, Allison, supported us all along the way; no question was too big or too small. Her responses were timely, infinitely useful, and a massive weight off of our shoulders throughout the entire process. We leaned on many of her recommendations for vendors, including some of our very favorite wedding components like the arcade games we set up for guests and our awesome DJ. As we got closer to the event, it became clear just how great our choice was to work with Allison and Without a Hitch, they kept us (and our many, many vendors!) organized and I felt confident our day would go to plan. Allison was encouraging, kind, and even helped up coordinate an epic visit from Santa Claus to surprise our guests on the dance floor. The Without a Hitch team was so professional and couple-oriented, I could really tell they wanted us to have the experience we were looking for, and put us first throughout the process. We couldn't have done it without them!

All couples need Dana and her team with Thyme & Details for their big day. We hired Dana as a day of coordinator but she is so much more than that. She went to countless vendor meeting and kept track of all of my overly detailed instructions to make sure each piece of our day (timeline, vendor contracts, etc) worked with those details. When the venue dropped the ball, others got details wrong, or vendors fell through, Dana was always a step ahead and came up with even better solutions than our original plans. Dana really knows the ins and outs of organizing a wedding, is in tune with the Columbus wedding scene, and has incredibly valuable connections. Overall we were blown away by Dana and her team’s professionalism and dedication to our wedding. We hired Cassie just a few months before our big day after having some communication issues with our venues coordinators, and from the moment she joined, she went above and beyond to make everything perfect. She truly made our wedding stress-free and magical, handling every detail with incredible care. Cassie attended our final details meeting the day before the wedding, and our entire wedding party was blown away by her professionalism and calm demeanor. She guided the rehearsal effortlessly, making sure we were all on the same page, which made the big day run smoothly. On the wedding day, Cassie handled everything seamlessly. She helped with the little things, like holding my flowers and managing my dress during our first look. She coordinated with all of our vendors, set up our entire tent before the wedding, and even took care of the breakdown so we could just pick everything up the next day. We had some communication issues with our venue leading up to the wedding, but Cassie stepped in and resolved all of the details without us having to worry about a thing. If anything went wrong on the day of, we had no idea—she handled it all behind the scenes, she was so so awesome! Knowing she had it all under control gave us the peace of mind to fully enjoy our day. What truly touched us were the thoughtful extras. We got married at Brooklyn Steel in Williamsburg — a first for the venue — and from our very first meeting through the wedding day, Jessica completely understood our vision. She handled every twist and turn of vendor management with professionalism and a positive, can-do attitude. Every detail — from the timeline and floor plan to décor and vendor logistics — was executed flawlessly. Jessica and her team transformed a raw music venue into a stunning, one-of-a-kind wedding ceremony and reception space. From the start, Marissa kept my husband and I organized throughout the entire wedding planning process, ensuring our vision for the day came to fruition, and truly made our wedding day better than we had ever expected. We planned an outdoor wedding, and inevitably it was supposed to pour (thunder, lightning, flood, tornado warnings), and Marissa and her team worked from sunup to sundown to ensure that our day was exactly as we had imagined, rain or shine. Marissa was an advocate for my husband and I when difficult day-of -decisions needed to be made in relation to the rain, which allowed us to just “focus and take in the moment” which we are extremely grateful for. With some last minute timeline adjustments by Marissa, we were able to have the outdoor ceremony of our dreams. This would not have happened without the expertise and dedication of Marissa and her team. Multiple times throughout the wedding planning process I told my husband that Marissa seems to be the only vendor we chose that is actually “on our side.” We struggled with the organization and responses of other vendors, especially as the wedding season was in full swing, but Marissa never missed a moment. She was professional, quick to respond, and extremely reliable. I know that there are many options when choosing a wedding planner, but I can honestly say, I believe Marissa and her team to be the best there is. Personally, the only downside I’ve found about working with Marissa has been the end of it all… because it feels kind of like I don’t have my best friend around anymore!

Lauren is both of these things. If you are fortunate enough to be reading this review before she is completely booked for the year, consider yourself very lucky. I’d describe myself to be a relatively organized and budget-conscious person. A month-of-coordinator was an expense that I initially hoped to avoid…. believe me when I say hiring Lauren was the best decision we made to ensure my husband and I and all of our loved ones enjoyed the day fully. She did so much for us that I honestly cannot list it all. This girl LOVES her job and is out there to make your day happen. She is somehow everywhere all at once - but not in-your-face at all. She is super responsive, so detailed, and somehow, makes every interaction lovely and relaxed while also being firm and getting the job done. She will go to bat for you, she will capture the hearts of your vendors and families, she will have you and your spouse talking about how wonderful she is after every meeting you have with her. Lauren is the best kind of person and I am honestly sad that our time working with her is done. She is about to blow up big time, and we couldn’t be happier for her. She is worth EVERY PENNY!

We got married in October 2023 and were completely in over our heads with the planning process with no idea what to do after selecting a venue. I had met MK when I was a recently engaged bridesmaid for one of my best friends and she was her day-of planner.
