“My husband and I hired Madison as our day of coordinator. We did not hire a florist and ended up doing a lot of DIY projects for our wedding decor. We really wanted a professional to help us with setup and take-down of decor on the wedding day, so as not to burden our family/friends and take them away from the event to help. Madison was so friendly in the months leading up to the wedding and offered us lots of helpful advice on things we didn't even think to prepare for, like arranging seating charts and timing of processional songs. Our original venue coordinator ended up having to move away just a couple weeks before our wedding day, and Madison took the lead in syncing with the new venue coordinator on all the things we'd talked about. This really helped us out and took a load off our plate in those last few weeks before the wedding! The day of, she came early to the venue and, like a fairy godmother, had incorporated all of our decorations beautifully before we even arrived, so we were able to take lots of photos beforehand! Throughout the event, she cleverly found ways to repurpose some of our decor items to give them a second life, like setting reception flower arrangements along the room's bookshelves to dress them up for the ceremony, making a beautiful display with our ceremony roses and boutonnieres on our memory table, and using me and my bridesmaids' bouquets to create a beautiful sweetheart table arrangement! We were so incredibly thrilled with how well Madison and her team were able to follow our vision and exceed our expectations. A final sweet memory I have from near the end of the night - my hair was getting very tangled with my dress buttons on my back from dancing, and I was overheating and sweaty. Madison and her team arranged my hair into a beautiful low bun style so I could go back and have fun dancing again without worrying about it tangling further or looking bad. :) I'm so thankful we hired Madison as our day of coordinator, and we can't recommend her enough!!”

Venue, flowers, decor, churches (bring your own priest which is a thing), engagement photos, DJ, wedding party, save the dates, invitations. The list DOES. NOT. STOP. With all of these moving parts it really makes you wonder how such a complex event can happen without the slightest issue and seemingly end before you know it. Well, Liv is our reason. After months of planning, and picking, and choosing, and changing, and scrapping ideas our bandwidth for creativity and follow-through was wearing thin. Liv saved the day. She seamlessly coordinated communications between all parties and vendors to ensure that everyone was on the same page. “All couples need Dana and her team with Thyme & Details for their big day. We hired Dana as a day of coordinator but she is so much more than that. She went to countless vendor meeting and kept track of all of my overly detailed instructions to make sure each piece of our day (timeline, vendor contracts, etc) worked with those details. When the venue dropped the ball, others got details wrong, or vendors fell through, Dana was always a step ahead and came up with even better solutions than our original plans. Dana really knows the ins and outs of organizing a wedding, is in tune with the Columbus wedding scene, and has incredibly valuable connections. When we first decided to have our ceremony and reception at two separate locations, and eventually realized we would be working with around ten different vendors, I didn’t fully understand how essential an experienced day-of coordinator would be until late in the planning process. Looking back, I’m so grateful I had the foresight to book with MB Events. I worked with Caroline, and she was truly my rock on our wedding day. She communicated clearly and consistently and brought such a calm, genuine presence that immediately put me at ease. We had a few last-minute changes with some guests who were unable to attend while another one was added at the last minute. Caroline handled everything by coordinated directly with the venue to remove chairs and add name cards without needing any prompting from me. I was extremely stressed leading up to the wedding, but in hindsight, I really didn’t need to be. Caroline had everything completely under control! We met four times before the wedding: an initial Zoom meeting, another Zoom call about three months out to review the timeline and vendors, a venue walkthrough, and the rehearsal. She was incredibly detail-oriented and always thoughtful in her approach. It was so helpful to have a professional to bounce ideas off of, and she often raised considerations I hadn’t even thought of. I truly felt like she was my safety net throughout the process. Caroline planned everything down to the minute while remaining flexible and when changes came up. I never once felt rushed, and I appreciated how down-to-earth and approachable she was. “We found Rachel after attending another wedding that she planned and hired her to be our day-of coordinator about 10 months before the wedding. It was one of the best decisions we made - Please book Happily Ever After Adventure Co! THE GOOD: Rachel is incredibly organized! Her pre-wedding google doc timeline & packing list saved my sanity multiple times. One of our other vendors said it was one of the most useful timelines they had ever gotten. Several venue/vendor problems were avoided because she took care of them before the wedding. She had us rehearse all of the small things that could go wrong the day before (antique car entrance, processional, readings, etc) and the ceremony went flawlessly. THE BETTER: Rachel helped us handle all of the small hiccups that happened going into the wedding. Need to re-do the seating chart the day before the wedding because the tables delivered were not the planned size? No problem, she fixed all of the table numbers on the seating chart. The table numbers were nowhere to be found? No problem, Rachel pulled together beautiful table numbers with some extra frames we had. Bustle popped in the middle of the reception? No problem, she had safety pins on her. THE BEST: She took my vision and completely brought it to life, and handled all the details so we could just enjoy. So many of our friends and family commented on how amazing Rachel was! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, largely because of Happily Ever After Adventure Co!”

We had previously hired a different DOC who had to drop out due to personal health problems. Jamie came recommended to us through our florist who had worked with her before. From our first meeting with Jamie, she instilled a confidence in us that we had never felt with our previous hire. She is a great communicator and clearly laid out what responsibilities she would be taking on. She had a series of meetings with us leading up to the wedding, handled vendor communication in the final week before the event, and put together a timeline based on our preferences and vendor preferences. We also hired her to do the styling for our tables which turned out exactly the way we had envisioned. On the day of the wedding, Jamie and her team took care of executing the timeline and ensured the set up was done to our specifications. We had a small snafu where I had forgotten to get pens for the guestbook and she took care of it for us. I am sure there were other areas where the event did not go according to plan, but Jamie and her team took care of them all. My husband and I both agree that we had a perfect wedding!”

Kris assisted us in securing last-minute venue/vendor details and navigated us through all the easily-over looked logistics of the wedding day. She gave honest feedback on how our ideas could be realistically executed, and presented us with reasonable alternatives when needed. Because of her professional guidance and get-s***-done attitude, we knew we were in solid hands. On the day of the wedding, she made sure everything went as smoothly as possible (aka wrangling decor, vendors, and guests to keep us on schedule). “It was so fun getting to spend time with her and getting to know her during this process. Cathy made every little detail of our fairytale wedding come true. She was terrific during the planning process. When I wanted to try to handle projects myself, she stepped back and let me handle them, but was always there if I needed advice or help with anything. When I needed her to be more involved and hands on, I felt completely confident and comfortable letting her take things in the direction that she felt was best. She was always quick to answer emails and talk on the phone to hash out big picture items or last minute details. The week leading up to the wedding Cathy was AMAZING. We spent almost 2 hours on the phone making sure every last detail was taken care of and exactly the way I envisioned it. She ran our ceremony in the pouring rain and was always cheerful and positive, she was there for me for moral support all afternoon while I was getting ready, she helped setup the barn and ceremony beautifully and made sure every detail was in order. During the ceremony and reception, she made sure that my husband and I were taken care of the entire evening. Our day was absolutely perfect from start to finish and Cathy's expertise, guidance and help played such a huge part in the success of our wedding day. Thank you Cathy!!
