Long story short: hire Dawn!! Dawn coordinated our wedding at Waterfall Lodge and we could have asked for a more supportive, collaborative, knowledgeable, detail-oriented, caring person to coordinate our day. From the start, communication was easy and Dawn was very responsive, transparent, and helped us create a wedding that aligned with our goals, values, and budget. She provided us with tons of resources to help us execute our day - sample timelines, layouts, vendor lists, tips and tricks, and more (in addition to lots of email communication and very thoughtful meetings leading up to our big day). Our wedding day was truly a dream - better than we could’ve ever imagined - and I strongly believe it is largely in part because Dawn (and the rest of our vendor team that mostly came from Dawn’s recommendations) was so on it. We were 100% present for our wedding and at peace knowing Dawn was in charge of our day. From the bottom of my heart and top of my brain, I couldn’t recommend Dawn more!! When we were initially searching for wedding planners, it was immediately clear to us that the team at Paige Events stood head and shoulders above anyone else we interviewed. From the moment we started working with Paige A for partial planning for our wedding, we were given all the tools and support we needed to plan and execute the most amazing wedding weekend. Paige A does an amazing job managing vendors (multiple of them came up to us after the wedding to tell us how much they liked working with her, and how great of a communicator she was) and ensuring that you can really relax and enjoy your wedding rather than worrying about logistical details. Our wedding had the additional challenge of being in an area with no cell reception (Big Sur) and Paige A did an amazing job managing logistics in this challenging environment, including arranging shuttles to transport 100 people for multiple events. Claire played such a big role in our perfect wedding day. We planned a simple DIY wedding with minimal decor. She was so helpful from our first consultation call. There were things we didn't know to consider or how to find, and she was so willing to offer recommendations and suggestions. Closer to the wedding, she managed our vendor communications and big day timeline. She is honest, organized, innovative, and so thorough. One of the letters on our Mr & Mrs sign broke and she glued a cute tiny bow over the letter with eyelash glue! We appreciated Claire so much. On top of managing our timeline, wedding party, family, hired staff, last minute changes, and very drunk people, she truly prioritized what we (the bride and groom) valued. Also, she protected our peace during the whole day and kept us safe throughout the night. We could not have done our wedding without Claire and truly recommend her to everyone!

We hired Dina to be our wedding planner and it was the single best decision we made for our wedding. We called a few different vendors and Dina immediately stood out because she was the only one who was willing to actually give us a true consultation to ensure we were on the same page with what we wanted. She also didn't require us to pay her any money up front. In fact, she didn't request any money from us until maybe a month or two in? And even then, it was a minimal deposit. Point is, her vibe is that of someone who understands the stress of wedding planning for the bride and groom so she makes you feel like she wants to earn your trust and do everything right before she asks for your business. Leading up to the wedding, friends and family would ask us if we were stressed or ask us how the wedding planning was going. Our answer would always be, "you know what... we don't have anything to do lol." And that was the truth. Dina made the entire process come together so seamlessly for us, during a pandemic no less, when so many vendors were backed up. When we saw the venue in it's final form for the first time, our jaws dropped. Even to this day we love recalling comments from guests on how beautiful the venue was. During the actual wedding, she stayed the WHOLE night for us and even brought an assistant. Leading up to the wedding we were not expecting that! She helped to orchestrate the whole night between guest seating and working with restaurant staff. Simply put, Dina's communication was on point. Her work ethic blew us away. The way she found and discussed vendors with us made us completely trust her with the process of pulling our vision together. Her fees were criminal to the point we had to tip her almost 500 more just so we didn't feel like we were robbing her of her time and effort. We've already jumped at the opportunity to recommend her to friends/family that are embarking on their wedding planning journeys. I don't write many reviews, but had to for Dina. She will always have a special place in our memories and lives because she played such a huge role on our special day.

She spent over eight hours with us on a single weekend grinding through our food tasting, venue layout, furniture selection, and floral details without missing a beat. She was an absolute advocate for us, always had our back when negotiating with venues and vendors, and made the entire months-long process feel completely stress-free and adaptive to our demanding daily schedules. The Execution & Hospitality: On the wedding day, Kate and her team executed a complex, highly coordinated itinerary flawlessly. Her team operated like a finely tuned orchestra—everyone knew their exact role and maintained a highly professional, cohesive presence. She had dedicated assistants tracking the bride and groom simultaneously, meaning she had her finger on the pulse of the entire event from sunrise to midnight. Working with the Oso team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We actually hired them about 2 years in advance, so we got to work with them for a super long time! One of the biggest reasons that we wanted to hire Oso specifically was because of their decor inventory, which was 100% available to use at no additional cost with their full wedding planning package. Weddings can be extremely wasteful in terms of decor, so it was nice to be able to consciously be a bit more sustainable! We honestly ended up hiring Oso for so many other services as well — Michelle did an amazing job with our signage, they also have a great photobooth package, and Michelle’s sister owns Bobaholics so we were able to get a discounted rate for a boba bar! It really felt like a one-stop shop :) Michelle, Gen, Raymundo, and Gennie were all so helpful in coordinating with vendors and giving us wedding advice/guidance - working with them also gave us confidence that we weren’t missing any important steps or details of wedding planning. They were also available by text/email anytime, and they always responded extremely quickly, which I so appreciated! Talking to them felt more like talking to friends who were super passionate about wedding planning! On the actual day of the wedding, my husband and I felt so stress-free because of Oso - they seamlessly guided everyone to stay on schedule, had walkie talkies to communicate with each other, and constantly asked us if we needed any food/water/etc. They took care of passing out our vendor tips, and set up all of our decor with time to spare! When people ask us for wedding planning advice, we always say that hiring a planner was the best decision we made - specifically Oso Events! They are truly the best at what they do :) We could not be more grateful to them!

I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. On the day of, McKenna and her team were so efficient and handled everything so that my husband and I could relax and focus on ourselves. We got to our venue and everything was already done and ready to start the day! My partner and I were looking for guidance and help in planning our wedding celebration. We were recommended Two Perfect Events by our venue, Mister Jiu's, given their prior collaboration and experience with them. We were kindly welcomed by Leah and introduced to our planner, Yoko, who was amazing, carefully guiding and making our vision a reality, accommodating our preferences and budget, and helping us with the design and layout of the big day with all of our vendors. She provided multiple vendor options, communicated closely with them and us throughout the bidding and hiring process, and ensured we were all on the same page from planning through the walkthrough and up to the day of the event. One of the greatest things about this process was the clear, concise communication and organization that made planning, payments, and decision-making understandable, step by step, rather than a labyrinth of crossed wires and deadlines.  The day of our wedding was as effortless as could be. It was great to have the team from Two Perfect Events, along with Yoko and Leo, there to assist with setting up and taking down decorations and rentals, help guide guests, event staff, and our vendors, and ensure everything, including our deliveries and rentals, went according to plan. We also appreciated that our planners kept an eye on both of us the entire night to ensure we were doing well and enjoying the festivities, getting our food, making sure we were at the right place at the right time, and saving any items for our personal requests. We did not expect that Two Perfect Events would take behind-the-scenes photos and videos of the entire day and the in-person walkthroughs, which gave us a chance to reminisce on the process and quickly provide a glimpse of our families and friends outside the eyes of our wonderful wedding photographers.  We appreciated that our vendors were all in sync, and the coordinators ensured our entire process minimized the stress of planning, which was what we had hoped for all along. They provided us with good advice on choosing vendors, insurance for our wedding, and what to expect when working with multiple parties. It was evident that Two Perfect Events had considered multiple contingencies and scenarios in which snafus or unexpected issues may arise throughout the process, and we were glad that Yoko was always prepared for them, including giving us enough buffer time due to traffic delays so our guests could arrive on the big day.  Everyone complimented us on the evening, and it went by so smoothly. They commented that this was the least stressful and most fun wedding they've been to in a long time, which conveyed the vibe we were going for. We wanted it to be a fun yet intimate evening where everyone enjoyed getting together to celebrate, and we were delighted to celebrate that day with them. Thanks again to our wonderful planner, Yoko, and Two Perfect Events! We couldn't have done this without you.

If I could give any couple one piece of advice for their wedding it would be to book with Redwood. Alex is so good at her job it's remarkable, it's actually impossible to enumerate everything she did for us. Alex (and Hannah!) did day-of-coordination for us and having her input and advice the months leading up to our wedding was AMAZING. Any issue we had, Alex was there to talk us through it and give guidance. We would only have to describe something to her once and she would "just get it" and be able to execute flawlessly. Every decision she made day-of (because there will ALWAYS be some small decisions that have to be made) was better executed than if we had thought about how to do it ourselves. One of our only regret in working with Alex was that we didn't just have her do full-planning for us. Cannot recommend Redwood's enough, you'll be in the most experienced and safest hands possible.

I cannot express how much you need Sandra in your life. I am extremely type A and organized and I couldn't believe how much I didn't think about. The questions she asks, the moments and details she thinks about that I hadn't even considered. The planing program she has is AMAZING for seating charts, keeping track of budgeting. I loved how task oriented she is; after each of our meetings I would walk away with a checklist and timeline so I knew what and when I needed things done, and I would just send it her way and she would work her magic. She is so organized, on top of it, creative, responsive, and fun!! I literally didn't have to worry about anything the day of. I even learned after the fact that there was some guest drama with this seating chart and she and my sister handled it and I didn't even know about it!! Truly worth every single cent. I would prioritize Love With in the Details in your wedding budgeting because it is TRULY WORTH IT!! I can not recommend Sandra and her team highly enough.

Honestly. Patricia was fabulous. As the Mother of the Bride, I watched her handle vendors, last minute surprises, and all of our guests with Grace and Professionalism. I never experienced any anxiety and knew that she had absolutely everything under control. My husband and I arrived before anyone else and watched as she seamlessly made sure that everything was done as planned. Her presence was barely noticeable except when needed and then she would almost magically appear anticipating the need. I am so impressed with her skills and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to my closest friends and family.
