I don’t even know where to start, as this review could be an entire essay— to put it simply, Morgan is the best. And that is truly not an exaggeration. We scheduled our first call with Morgan before we had any plan for our wedding. There was no date, no venue, no idea of what the day would look like. The second we spoke to her, we knew we had to work with her, and that everything else would fall into place from there. She kept everything with all of our vendors organized and communicated with all of them so we didn’t have to stress about a thing. Any hiccup or challenging moment we had, she solved. She built the perfect timeline, kept everyone on track, and made the planning process feel way easier than we expected. People were constantly asking us how stressful wedding planning was, and it truly was not at all, because of Morgan. And then came the wedding day… with rain. But Morgan handled everything so beautifully. She pivoted, problem-solved, kept me calm, and made sure the day turned out 10x more beautiful than we could have imagined. Her and her team were always two steps ahead. Morgan made sure we could actually enjoy our wedding, and we did not have to manage any details that day. This was all amazing! But what I find truly so special about Morgan is all the things that I didn’t expect when working with a wedding planner. The things people don’t see… her calming me down as I cried minutes before the ceremony (because I was delusional and for some reason thought it wouldn’t rain), her reapplying my lipstick, holding my dress while I peed, putting deodorant on me midway through the night, keeping drinks in our hands, so we could spend time with our guests, making sure we actually sat down and ate, taking my extensions out when I was ready for my hair to go up, I could go on and on. During all of that she was managing every bump in the road that occurred- problems that Riley and I will never even know about because she handled them for us. And beyond all this, Morgan is truly the kindest person. We felt like we had a friend holding our hand through our entire planning process. We were sad when our monthly meetings came to an end; she was such an important part of our lives for over a year. She brings energy, fun, love, and thoughtfulness to everything she touches. We are so grateful to have met Morgan, the wedding planner, and the person.

When my husband and I started our journey to plan our wedding, I knew we were going to need some help. We are non traditional, with very eclectic tastes, and we were going to need someone special to help us pull off all of our insane ideas. I extensively researched over 20 coordinators, had a phones calls with 5 different companies, but ultimately I knew Ashley from Rose Event Co. was going to be the one. From the start she personable, intelligent, and made me feel understood in what our vision was for our special day. Throughout the process she was punctual with all of our appointments, gave helpful suggestions, and made me feel confident leaving my type A personality and needs in her hands. The weekend of the wedding came, and a lot of creative problem solving as well. We rented a private mansion for our event and did the rehearsal the day before. Ashley was there early, having already communicated with my other vendors and the venue to make sure we would be prepared for our big day. What we didn't expect was the kitchen under construction, furniture and decor that had not been moved at our previous requests(but promised), rooms that we had planned for, but could no longer use, and the Venue staff not "remembering" months worth of text and phone call conversations about our needs and expectations, as well as their promises and what they were supposed to deliver. There were other issues, but I digress. Ashley immediately stepped in with ideas and to be the go between with the Venue, and to help troubleshoot the long list of problems that had now come up. The night before was stressful for my Husband and I, not knowing if we were going pull this off, but I knew with Ashley, we were in good hands. The day of she brought her A game, a stunning red dress, and handled business. She was not afraid to get involved and make sure everything we wanted happened. She listened to our needs, knew when to step up or step down, was super flexible in our timeline and made sure to handle any issues that arose during the wedding. Her ability to read a situation and adapt to the issues at hand made her the perfect fit to our crazy ideas. She has incredible creative problem solving and is kind hearted and hard working. If it wasn't for Ashley, we could not have pulled off our day. I would recommend her 10x's over, to any bride that wants an absolute badass by their side. She handles business, and gives confidence to her clients. Thank you Ashley and Rose Event Co. for turning what could have been a disaster into a day dream!

It was a pleasure working with Kaiya! She was very cooperative, knowledgeable, and organized throughout the entire process. The package I chose with Kaiya was the event management service. Wedding planning was a bit stressful for me since it was just my partner and I planning the whole thing together but 3 months before the event Kaiya jumped in and helped manage all of our vendors, helped with day of timeline, and more. She also helped coordinate the rehearsals and the day of the wedding. She helped us with the searches for everything—venue, DJ, photography, day-of coordination, flowers, catering—and provided us timelines and organization tools that were genuinely invaluable. We had very little idea going in exactly what was needed to plan a wedding, but Brittany’s collaboration made us feel very on top of things. She also worked with us to troubleshoot things when issues arose (like our flower provider not following some of our communication requests). And an added bonus is that she’s fun to hang out with lol—we really enjoyed our monthly meetings!! Would absolutely recommend the Venlist (and Brittany specifically)!

As the founder of AWE Planner, you might wonder: How did she become a planner? How many events do we coordinate each year? What inspires us about this work? For founder Jenn Greel, becoming a wedding and event planner was a natural path. Her journey began with bartending private events, and planning gatherings for friends, which eventually spared the idea of launching her own planning business. From our first wedding fair to signing our first client-who happened to be a coworker at the time-AWE Planner was built from scratch. Jenn was our month of wedding coordinator and she absolutely saved us with the most hectic month of wedding planning! It was incredible that Jenn was available for meetings even before the month of coordination stated. We are definitely the kind of couple that knew what we think we wanted but weren’t sure if they were actually good ideas for a wedding. Jenn has a ton of experience and definitely helped guide us onto the right path during those meetings! And very importantly, the day of the wedding was so smooth, if anything went wrong that day we had no idea because from our perspective we had the perfect day. She also had this great ability to take ideas we briefly mentioned during meetings and ensured they were delivered on the day of. She also definitely took care of us on our wedding day, and made sure we ate (which both our livers and stomachs really appreciated) - which does not seem like a guarantee during most weddings! As a bonus, Jenn is actually hilarious and our bridal parties loved working with her during the rehearsal, and several guests said they loved bumping into her as well! Also, don’t underestimate Jenn’s hatchback! We took an overloaded sleeper van with all our decor and alcohol for the wedding and were convinced it would not fit in there in one trip, and she proved us wrong! Get yourself a wedding planner that can efficiently tetris both wedding items and wedding plans like Jenn!

I had a very unique style wedding and most of it I tried to do DIY. In a nutshell, it became extremely overwhelming for me, so I asked my planner Rebecca to assist. Her and the owner were so kind enough to make my original package of Day of Planning, to Full planning at a discount! Saved my whole wedding day. I cried a few days before my wedding because remembering all the months prior, they were there for me every step of the way. And on the day, everyone kept asking me, Is your planner a friend of yours? I honestly told them, 100% yes. :) Because I feel like we now are friends. Such a family orientated company. I highly recommend.

She was also incredibly responsive, making herself available via email, text, and phone, and handled communication between the travel agency, resort coordinator, and vendors seamlessly. From creating a comprehensive packing list (down to things like bobby pins!) to personally making sure we didn’t have to worry about the little details, Casey thought of everything.
