As the founder of AWE Planner, you might wonder: How did she become a planner? How many events do we coordinate each year? What inspires us about this work? For founder Jenn Greel, becoming a wedding and event planner was a natural path. Her journey began with bartending private events, and planning gatherings for friends, which eventually spared the idea of launching her own planning business. From our first wedding fair to signing our first client-who happened to be a coworker at the time-AWE Planner was built from scratch. With every event we've learned, grown, and harnessed our experiences to shape the outstanding team we are today.

Each season we coordinate between 30 and 50 weddings. Jenn guides the AWE Team through each event, ensuring seamless communication from clients to the vendors and bringing every detail of the clients vision to life. We love event coordination for so many reasons: the unique stories of our clients, the love that fills each celebration, and the diversity of each experience. We've had the joy of honoring traditions from various cultures including Indian, Chinese, Filipino, and Latin to name just a few. Couldn’t Have Asked for a Better Wedding Planner
Working with Jenn as our wedding planner was easily one of the best decisions of our wedding. Jenn is professional, fun, funny, incredibly warm, and has AMAZING energy. She was non-stop zooming around making sure everything was perfect from start to finish and we got so many compliments from our friends and family about her. What makes Jenn so special is that she feels like a friend while also taking charge without ever being overbearing, and you can completely trust her to make things happen. She's approachable, kind, and so much fun to be around, but she also has that "don't worry, I've got this" energy and absolutely GETS. Sh*#. DONE. If there were any problems, we sure didn't know about them because everything felt completely perfect. She also completely nailed my vision for a fun, funky garden party. All of our DIY details and flowers were laid out with so much care, and somehow she created EXACTLY what I had pictured in my head. We cannot recommend Jenn and her team enough!

Jenn is a gem!
Jenn is a gem! I liked her from the moment we first talked. She's warm, personable, thoughtful, attentive, and deeply invested in her clients. She went above and beyond during the planning process, and on the day of my wedding, she stepped up to the plate like I could not believe. I didn't need to pay attention to any of the logistics because Jenn and her assistant were working so hard behind the scenes. My wedding was the most magical day of my life, which in no way could have happened if Jenn hadn't been my partner throughout the process.

I had the pleasure of working with Flor for our wedding and she was amazing. She really helped keep us on schedule and was there for anything we needed all the way up to getting all the boxes packed up at the end of the night. I don’t know what I would’ve done without her that day! Thank you Flor!

A Integral Part of the Best Day Ever
Jenn is phenomenal! We hired her as a month-of coordinator for our wedding. In the final weeks leading up to our wedding, she created a floor plan and timeline for us, coordinated our rehearsal, and guided us on things like signage and vendor tips, which we would have been completely lost on without her help. She was very responsive (and patient!) as we peppered her with questions. We were already impressed with her at that point, but she really shone on our wedding day. There was so much going on, and she and her assistants handled it all so seamlessly. She made sure that everything was set up, everybody was where they were supposed to be, and that my husband and I were well-fed and hydrated throughout the evening, and she did it all with a calm demeanor that put everyone at ease. We were even ahead of schedule for most of the day! Here's a little story about Jenn and her team's attention to detail: She asked us ahead of the wedding day what drinks we wanted to have waiting for us at dinner. My husband asked for a Diet Coke. In my vows during the ceremony, I made a comment about how he prefers to drink Diet Cokes with no ice, and then when it was time for dinner, his Diet Coke had no ice! We were touched that Jenn and her team were listening and cared to make that personal little change. If you're planning a wedding and are wondering whether you need a coordinator, 1) yes, you do, and 2) you need to go with Jenn! She's the best :)

Arizona Wedding Help
Working with Jen from AWE Planner was a game-changer for our wedding planning process. She communicated with us in a way that was efficient and easy to follow, always getting back to us quickly and making sure we understood every step along the way. What really stood out was how much care she put into her work—you could tell she takes pride in helping couples, and she went above and beyond what we expected. Even though we're in Arizona and she's based in California, Jen found us incredible vendors at great prices and turned what felt overwhelming into something manageable and peaceful. She helped bring clarity to every decision we made, and honestly, the whole experience felt less stressful because of her guidance. We'd recommend Jen to anyone looking for a planner, no matter where you're located.
