How many weddings do you do each year?

There are four coordinators with our team. Each of us does this full time and do two events a month. We know that the week leading up to an involved event like a wedding can be a tad challenging with lots of last-minute changes, so we never do events back-to-back, leaving that week available to help where needed. The lead coordinator you sign on with will work with you through the full event. And, if need be, we have an amazing team of day-of assistants to lend an extra set of hands, eyes, and ears on the day-of.

Do you only do weddings?

No! While we don't do as many, we're happy to work on mitzvahs, birthday parties, anniversary parties, corporate social events, and, occasionally, fund raisers.

How much time should we expect to spend with you?

The amount of time you work with your lead coordinator depends on the type of package you opted for. On average, couples who bring us on for either the partial or full planning options spend about a year working with us, about six weeks with our month-of coordination package. The longest we've worked with a couple has been four years (!!), the shortest two weeks.

Do you design weddings?

We don't by any means bill ourselves as wedding designers. While we can offer our suggestions and ideas, we make it crystal clear that this is YOUR wedding, not ours. Our job is to take the vision you have and bring it to fruition.

How long have you been in business and how many weddings have you done?

The company was started in 2007. We started with one coordinator then added others over the years. Combined, we have done well over 1000 weddings + over 100 non-wedding events.

Question 6

Where did the name "Dreams on a Dime" originate?

My mom was a firm believer in spending your money wisely. She'd joke that it was okay to be thrifty without being cheap. We know that weddings are expensive, and we know we live in one of the most expensive places in the country, but we work with our couples to make the best use of their budget. We help them try and prioritize so they can get the biggest bang for their buck. We want them to wake up the next day and say, "wasn't that wonderful?!", not "when is that credit card bill due?"
