Vincent Po Photography

Oklahoma raised, Princeton educated, and founder of Portrait of a Young Couple, documenting how couples of all backgrounds and identities across the world live and love. I'd love to be a part of helping to capture you and your partner's love.

I've photographed couples from all different backgrounds and circumstances (check out my portfolio to see for yourself!) so no matter your beliefs and identities, or how unique you and your partner's love is, I'm committed to making you feel confident, seen, and accepted anytime we speak or work together. I studied Electrical Engineering at Princeton before becoming a photographer, and bring the methodical attention to detail I learned there to every aspect of my creative work.

    We worked with Vincent for our wedding in February of 2021. We scheduled our wedding with him several months beforehand. Leading up to the day, he had checked in several times to see how our plans had been coming, evolving, and what our expectations were the day of. He is incredibly personable, professional, and talented. We didn't ask for a lot of specific shots and the few we did ask for came out way better than we could have possibly imagined. Vincent took beautiful photos of us, our family, and our friends. For our camera-shy friends, he kept laughing with us, creating an atmosphere of joy and stress-free photography! He was quick to ensure that all of us being photographed were comfortable. Since our wedding, we have recommended him to literally every person who lets us know that they're engaged. We really can't say enough about Vincent and his work! The best we can say is that we highly recommend working with him- he is a truly amazing human and photographer!

    I met Vincent last year as he was a photographer at a wedding and I was the videographer. We instantly connected as he is the kindest, and most genuine person. He is filled with so much joy and happiness, and he truly made the day wonderful just with his presence. His business, Portrait of a Young Couple is truly inspiring and it tells you how great Vincent is as he captures these weddings free of charge in return for your story. I learned all about his business the day I worked with him, and he is so passionate and truly loves what he does. After the wedding, I was able to see the photos that Vincent took, and not only was he great to work with but his photos are amazing too. We do live in different states, but I hope someday our paths cross again and that I work with him again as he makes working in the wedding industry better.

    The Experience - My husband and I are both pretty camera shy, so it was really important for us to find someone we felt comfortable with. Vincent managed to win over my introverted husband in a surprisingly short period of time, and was easy to talk to about what we were looking for. Vincent was helpful in guiding us through poses for our couple portraits and also impressed us with how he made our friends and family comfortable throughout the day. The Photos - We wanted lovely photos that we could treasure, but we didn’t want all of the pictures to come out overly filtered or washed out. Vincent’s photography stood out to us because it feels authentic and timeless at the same time. He got the previews and photos back to us in a timely fashion after the wedding, and we were thrilled with how the pictures came out. There was one photo that we wanted something small photoshopped out of the background, and Vincent was accommodating in making that edit that we requested after receiving the photos. The Communication - With so much going on right before the wedding, it was helpful that Vincent checked in on us for things he needed a couple months ahead of time. This helped us know what to figure out and gave us buffer if we were late on getting back to him. He was always quick to respond to our questions, and as mentioned earlier, he was great at communicating after the event as well. Overall if you can get on Vincent’s calendar, I’d happily recommend our wedding photographer to anyone
