Three classmates turned friends and colleagues, TrioNYC is a group of New York City based jazz musicians that have been working together for over a decade. A proud graduate of The New School for Jazz & Contemporary Music in New York City, he had the privilege of studying under legendary musicians such as Reggie Workman, Roy Hargrove, and Bernard Purdie, gaining invaluable knowledge and experience. Throughout his career, Matt has achieved numerous highlights, including touring extensively with Brandon Flowers (The Killers) during The Desired Effect World Tour and performing at some of the world’s most iconic venues.

45 Riots is a modern NYC wedding and event band, boutique live music entertainment company, and independent record label. The Brooklyn Beats is the inaugural event/wedding band founded by music industry veteran, Jon Shiffman. Jon is best known for his live work as a drummer for Grammy winner Jack Antonoff in the bands Steel Train and Bleachers. He has toured all over the world and his drumming can be heard on various National TV Commercials, and is featured in the 2024 release of Paramount Pictures’ Mean Girls movie. Since even before leaving the touring life in 2015, Jon has been a fixture in the New York private event/wedding band scene and has been a drummer, band leader, talent booker and event producer for the biggest agencies and bands in the area.
