It was a pleasure working with Kaiya! She was very cooperative, knowledgeable, and organized throughout the entire process. The package I chose with Kaiya was the event management service. Wedding planning was a bit stressful for me since it was just my partner and I planning the whole thing together but 3 months before the event Kaiya jumped in and helped manage all of our vendors, helped with day of timeline, and more. She also helped coordinate the rehearsals and the day of the wedding. I truly did not have to worry about a single thing on my wedding day, Kaiya handled everything with ease and care, and she guided us through our timelines of events that day with expertise. As the founder of AWE Planner, you might wonder: How did she become a planner? How many events do we coordinate each year? What inspires us about this work? For founder Jenn Greel, becoming a wedding and event planner was a natural path. Her journey began with bartending private events, and planning gatherings for friends, which eventually spared the idea of launching her own planning business. From our first wedding fair to signing our first client-who happened to be a coworker at the time-AWE Planner was built from scratch. With every event we've learned, grown, and harnessed our experiences to shape the outstanding team we are today.

Jenn is phenomenal! We hired her as a month-of coordinator for our wedding. In the final weeks leading up to our wedding, she created a floor plan and timeline for us, coordinated our rehearsal, and guided us on things like signage and vendor tips, which we would have been completely lost on without her help. She was very responsive (and patient!) as we peppered her with questions. We were already impressed with her at that point, but she really shone on our wedding day. There was so much going on, and she and her assistants handled it all so seamlessly. She made sure that everything was set up, everybody was where they were supposed to be, and that my husband and I were well-fed and hydrated throughout the evening, and she did it all with a calm demeanor that put everyone at ease. We were even ahead of schedule for most of the day! Here's a little story about Jenn and her team's attention to detail: She asked us ahead of the wedding day what drinks we wanted to have waiting for us at dinner. My husband asked for a Diet Coke. In my vows during the ceremony, I made a comment about how he prefers to drink Diet Cokes with no ice, and then when it was time for dinner, his Diet Coke had no ice! We were touched that Jenn and her team were listening and cared to make that personal little change. If you're planning a wedding and are wondering whether you need a coordinator, 1) yes, you do, and 2) you need to go with Jenn! She's the best :)

I am a 'hands-on' Wedding and Events Coordinator that goes above and beyond my client's expectations. I take pride in what I do and ensure that everyone from my Bride and Groom or Host, their guests, and even their hired vendors are taken care of throughout the celebration.

We had a fantastic experience working with Elizabeth. She was the day-of-coordinator for our 150-person wedding in Oakland, CA in May 2023. The day before, and the day of our wedding went so smoothly thanks to her and her assistant Rachel. We were so grateful for her expertise and support – she did so much for us on the day of the wedding, and I’m certain she was doing things behind the scenes that we didn’t even know about that kept everyone and everything running perfectly, and on time. We confirmed our date with Elizabeth 9 months out, found and signed contracts with the rest of our vendors, and then started communicating with her again a few months out. She helped us with our timeline, got us thinking about quite a few things we hadn’t thought of, and then a few weeks before the wedding, we had a seamless handover. She helped our vision come to life, was very calming and kind, had great communication with the rest of our vendors, and we can’t recommend her enough.

Anna and Lucky at Darling Buds are an incredible team. They led my husband and I through the entire planning process and were there for us throughout the big day. We had the best day of our lives at our wedding. People kept saying that I didn't seem stressed on the day of, and I said that it was true - I really wasn't stressed. Anna and Lucky planned the day incredibly well, and I was just so excited to marry my love. From the very beginning, they truly got to know us as a couple and asked great questions to find out exactly what kind of wedding we wanted. For us, this included a fusion of scottish and chinese traditions and some decor that incorporated our pets! They kept us on track with monthly meetings/powerpoints and stayed in touch via email between meetings. They kept within our budget and assembled a dream team of vendors. They worked very well with the team at our venue and with all of the vendors. Our family and friends also enjoyed meeting them and thought they did an amazing job. We cannot recommend The Darling Buds enough! They are both truly special and wonderful people with an amazing talent for planning weddings. We will be staying in touch with them because they are the best!

Meshawn was such a fantastic coordinator and we got so much value for the price with the day-of coordination package. She followed up with me every month leading up to the wedding to make sure the planning and vendor bookings were on track and. She also helped a ton with planning the full schedule for the day and had a good sense of how long each thing would take. And on the day-of she put out sooo many fires- unexpected guests showing up, adding an extra reception table, grabbing the vows that I forgot in the car last minute, coordinating with all the vendors. And every event was exactly on time and perfectly smooth. Even if you're doing a mostly DIY or budget wedding- day-of coordination is sooo worth it and I highly recommend Perfection Unlimited. They're super professional, calm, and kind. So grateful to their team for all their hard work.

I seriously can’t recommend Kalani enough. From the start, she was super organized and on top of every detail, which made everything feel way less stressful. Her transparency paired with her ability to problem-solve was the perfect combo. Kalani was always clear and upfront, she quickly communicated any high-priority issues, questions or roadblocks in what we thought was the best way possible. It felt like if anything “small” or “stupid” came up, I didn’t even notice because she handled it. I actually got to enjoy my event instead of worrying. On the day of, everything flowed so smoothly. There was a point when our timeline started to run behind due to vendor issues and she adjusted things in real time and coordinated with vendors to get us back on track without it feeling rushed. She also handled a last-minute seating change for a few guests so seamlessly that no one even realized there had been an issue. We LOVVEEDDD her energy! Anytime there was a problem on my wedding day she took care of it and was very active in my wedding day. From handling a problem with the caterer to handing out blankets to guests as their gift. Not only did she do all of that she also took pictures and videos and created a whole album for me since she knew I wouldn’t get pictures from my photographer/videographer for a while.
