She went to countless vendor meeting and kept track of all of my overly detailed instructions to make sure each piece of our day (timeline, vendor contracts, etc) worked with those details. “My wedding was this past weekend, and I still want to shout Amanda's praises from every rooftop! Hire her now! We had a complex wedding design: a full three-night, four-day weekend with several different spaces and layouts involved, and different guest lists for each day. Amanda handled everything masterfully. Every detail was exactly as we imagined (and more!), and she was a true joy to work with. My mother and I have different working styles and visions, and somehow Amanda found a way to meet both of our needs at each turn and help us avoid any conflict with one another. Amanda is highly detail-oriented and has a way of handling so many things "behind the scenes" and well in advance of the wedding - including crafting much of the decor and guest gifts weeks in advance, then personally transporting them to the wedding. It was efforts like this that really set her apart from other planners -- measurably reducing our stress each moment and taking things off our very full plates. “Working with Marissa and her team at MB Events, was by far the best decision my husband and I could have made during our wedding planning process. Marissa truly goes above and beyond for her clients, and her passion for her work is apparent from start to finish. My husband and I chose a venue where every aspect of our wedding needed to be coordinated with third-party vendors (string quartet, DJ, catering (incl. table, chairs, linens), set up, breakdown, etc). When we realized how much we underestimated the time and coordination needed to plan such an important event, we knew we needed help. Enter: MB Events. From the start, Marissa kept my husband and I organized throughout the entire wedding planning process, ensuring our vision for the day came to fruition, and truly made our wedding day better than we had ever expected. We planned an outdoor wedding, and inevitably it was supposed to pour (thunder, lightning, flood, tornado warnings), and Marissa and her team worked from sunup to sundown to ensure that our day was exactly as we had imagined, rain or shine. Marissa was an advocate for my husband and I when difficult day-of -decisions needed to be made in relation to the rain, which allowed us to just “focus and take in the moment” which we are extremely grateful for. With some last minute timeline adjustments by Marissa, we were able to have the outdoor ceremony of our dreams. This would not have happened without the expertise and dedication of Marissa and her team. Multiple times throughout the wedding planning process I told my husband that Marissa seems to be the only vendor we chose that is actually “on our side.” We struggled with the organization and responses of other vendors, especially as the wedding season was in full swing, but Marissa never missed a moment. She was professional, quick to respond, and extremely reliable. I know that there are many options when choosing a wedding planner, but I can honestly say, I believe Marissa and her team to be the best there is. Personally, the only downside I’ve found about working with Marissa has been the end of it all… because it feels kind of like I don’t have my best friend around anymore!”

“Lauren far exceeded our expectations of a wedding coordinator and we could not be happier with our experience with her. We originally planned on having no day of coordinator however repeatedly realized throughout the weeks leading up and on day of that we would not have been able to do it without Sarah.
