We started this floral design company to follow our passion for flowers and create the wedding of your dreams. We are based in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, but travel throughout New England to service our clients. We specialize in creative and detailed designs. Every client is unique and we love to showcase that through our designs.

Our designs are created in a natural garden style with lots of layers, whimsy, dancing flowers and organic shapes. Our color pallets are expertly curated to seamlessly blend shades and build tonal works of art. We aim to create fresh, innovative designs that reflect a sense of place and season. We are a full service florist catering to weddings of all sizes.

Our designs take cues from natural landscapes and are inspired by the seasons and locally grown blooms. We strive to create thoughtful designs based on each couples unique vision for their event. My first job in high school was at a local market florist, and the rest is history! Over 10 years in the floral industry, surrounded by so many talented artists, my love for creating and appreciating art has grown. In this time I have learned that not only am I passionate about the florals or mediums themselves, but also about the connections I’ve built through art.

I started my business as a Garden Designer in 2003 and I just love working with flowers. My business grew into holiday decorating, container gardening and designing flowers for weddings and events. So if you are in need of adding lighting to trees, shrubs or tents we can also provide that for you for a special evening ambience. We also provide many rentals from ceremony arbors, candles, candelabras, lanterns, vases and fabric for draping.

Nature's Design is a women owned, small business, serving the greater Boston area. We specialize in weddings and other larger events. Lauren and Elizabeth are the business owners, and we give you the personal attention throughout the whole process.

I have always known that I wanted to work with flowers and in 2001 I obtained a degree in Floriculture. I have twenty years of experience working in the field and have had the opportunity to work for some of the top companies in New England and US. Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

I have had hands on experience from Floral Arts in Westford, MA and have completed over 75 weddings in my time as a floral designer. I have a little intern named Larry, a corgi-pit mix, who is the model for Little Blooms, who you will see a lot of on Instagram. I love using locally grown flowers as much as I can in my work, to really showcase 'farm to florist'.
