“We first met Connie Clark when our daughter was organizing her wedding reception. At that time, Connie was involved with a startup venue that was undergoing renovations. To cut a long story short, around 7 PM the evening before our daughter's reception, it became clear that the venue was not prepared. When the venue manager was not responding to her calls, she rallied the group that was financing the remodeling project. By 10 PM, the lead investor instructed Connie to find an alternative location for the reception, which was scheduled for the following evening. Connie reached out to a nearby coffee shop/bar, explained the situation, and requested the on-duty manager to contact the owner to see if the reception could be held there. Shortly after, Connie received confirmation that the reception would take place at the new venue. She informed the investment group about the change in location and began reorganizing for the new space. Our family learned of the change around 7:30 AM on the day of the reception, and once we gave our approval, Connie assembled a team and transformed the coffee house/bar into a beautiful reception hall. “When we started wedding planning, the only thing I knew for sure was that I wanted day-of coordination support. After we toured Olio and met Sarah, booking with her team at Without A Hitch was a no brainer and truly worth every penny. Our coordinator, Allison, supported us all along the way; no question was too big or too small. Her responses were timely, infinitely useful, and a massive weight off of our shoulders throughout the entire process. We leaned on many of her recommendations for vendors, including some of our very favorite wedding components like the arcade games we set up for guests and our awesome DJ. As we got closer to the event, it became clear just how great our choice was to work with Allison and Without a Hitch, they kept us (and our many, many vendors!) organized and I felt confident our day would go to plan. Allison was encouraging, kind, and even helped up coordinate an epic visit from Santa Claus to surprise our guests on the dance floor. “At first, I was skeptical of hiring a day of coordinator as I am very organized and was pretty comfortable planning our day on my own. My main reason for hiring a day of coordinator was to not have to worry, to have someone who will help set-up things the way I would, and someone who I can count on to have all the answers for everyone else. Ayden went above and beyond. She is so calm and put together, she helped me more than I can put into words! We had a large wedding of 160 people with a good amount of intricate details. We also had rain that caused our entire ceremony to be switched a few hours before the start time. Ayden handled everything seamlessly. I seriously could not recommend her enough. She made sure my husband and I got wedding cake and extra dessert brought to our room with water for us at the end of the night. She is extremely kind and knowledgeable but encourages you to give your opinions and speak up. I also appreciated that Ayden had to make some executive decisions on her own like moving our LED sign where there wasn't a plug how I originally wanted it, she didn't stress me out with this question, she just handled it and made everything look amazing. I am a very stressed, Type A type of person, but when I saw the tasks for a wedding, I knew I needed someone to help me through planning. She meets with you monthly leading up to the wedding (more if needed) and gives an outline of tasks needed to be done by certain dates. She has an amazing list of vendors within a range of budgets - from dance lessons to cakes to florals (even helped us find a honeymoon travel company thanks to a previous client!). She was in contact with all of our vendors, which took so much stress off my shoulders, especially since I have a stressful job. When a bakery told us they could accommodate an allergy, and then went back on their promises, Cassie reached out to her vendors she knew and trusted until we found a solution. Her reassurance and calmness during stressful meetings made the wedding planning experience much more manageable and fun. She came with me to the final meeting at Glen Magna Farms about a month prior to the wedding and had copies of the table arrangements and set up of our day. She made sure all of the vendor forms were filled out on time and delivered them to the venue. Fast forward to the wedding day - it was going to rain and it was an outdoor ceremony. Cassie did everything in her power to try to come up with a way to have the ceremony outdoors (not under a tent) in case it rained. Thankfully, the rain held out and we had a perfect day, but Cassie was willing to do anything to help us achieve our dream. She handled everything the day of the wedding, and helped pack up my car afterwards. I'll also add - when there was a stain on my dress prior to the ceremony, Cassie was LITERALLY on her hands and knees trying to get it out (which she did, by the way). If there is one vendor you decide to splurge on, please let it be the planner, more specifically Ros&Co. You will be thanking yourself that you did, during the entire wedding planning process.”
