Our work with Jilian began a year or so before the wedding, and we could have never predicted the level of help she would give us in getting ready for the day. From her checklists, to check-in emails and Zoom calls, she was always able to make great recommendations about vendors and timelines, and she would do research for us as well. She even put together a mood board that helped us pick out florals and bridal party looks. She is helpful, supportive, and fun... We look at it as some of the best money we spent on the process. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding planner, and although she wasn't our day-of coordinator (as our coordinator was employed through the venue), we're sure she would have been great at that as well.

My husband and I got married on 6/15/2024. I handled majority of our wedding planning, but as an OCD bride, my biggest anxiety was not being able to be hands on for the day of our wedding. We started working with Ani a few months before our wedding and we wish we had her all along! Our wedding went off without a hitch, we enjoyed ourselves tremendously and have Ani to thank. Ani aced the essentials of wedding planning: coordinating with vendors to free up our time, staying organized, having plans and backup plans, communicating well (not burdening us with details, but keeping us in the loop and involving us on key issues), and being proactive. But what made her stand out, and are truly excellent planner, was her personal touch: getting to know us, understanding what we liked and how we liked it, and truly caring about making our wedding day wonderful. Ani has great empathy and could tell when we needed something, even if we couldn't articulate it, both in the planning phase and on the day of the wedding. We felt we were in such good hands. Also bonus points for pulling a rabbit out of a hat at the last minute on our wedding day when our DJ (a close friend) wanted to extend the rental on his equipment so we could bring it to the afterparty. I didn't even know Ani was aware of this idea, but at one point during the reception she mentioned that it was all sorted, and we had an afterparty for the ages. We couldn't recommend Ani more strongly! :)

Sarah was such an important part of our wedding planning process, choosing her and her team was the best decision we made. Three months before our big day, we found ourselves busy with our friend’s weddings and also our own wedding events. The pressure was on, but it helped greatly knowing someone was there to oversee it. In our meetings, she addressed all concerns, and provided valuable solutions. There are so many minute details that are often overlooked during this process, and Sarah was on top of everything. She brought attention to things we did not even think about and asked the questions we did not know were significant. She collaborated well with our vendors to help produce a night to remember. On the day of, she made sure we were right on time without making us feel rushed. From our church wedding to the reception, she made sure that each step of the way went according to plan. We were able to be on the dance floor all night, just as we wanted without worrying about a single thing. We knew she was there working behind the scenes, ensuring everything would go smoothly. Next thing we know, light sticks and glow rings were being distributed- something we actually almost forgot because we were over the top enjoying ourselves. They also gave us invaluable advice before the wedding which we followed and it helped to keep us very organized on our end. The decor took our breath away. We aren't design experts and just had a general idea of what we liked. Also owing to our busy schedules which left us little time to participate in the design process, we let Natalie run freely with the concepts she came up with and would tell any other couple to do the same! You won't regret it! I might be something of a designer's nightmare: a bride who doesn't always know what she wants and doesn't have time to plan anything but has high standards about whatever it is. I secretly feared that my wedding would never live up to what I hoped but when we stepped into our ceremony and reception, our jaws were on the floor the whole time. We could not believe this was our wedding because ohhhh my godd. It's like Natalie knew exactly what we wanted without us even knowing it ourselves. The fact that she designed and planned this for us while based in a different city the whole time makes it all the more impressive to me. Last of all, I want to add how grateful I am that Natalie always made sure that both my husband and I felt equally included in decisions. Many vendors treat the bride as if she is the only one whose opinion matters and while maybe this is traditional in the industry, I could tell that he felt left out sometimes. So I want to thank Natalie for always treating it like it was OUR wedding and not just mine because it meant a lot to my husband.

She made site visits to our venue, helped source a lot of our vendors who she had connections with and previously worked with ( the most beautiful flowers and live ceremony music! ), and led us through our day of events with ease. I truly could not have done it without her! She never let an email go unanswered - she was both timely and professional in person as well as over the phone. You can tell she truly knows the business and loves what she does! Would recommend to any bride near or far for a stress free, perfect wedding day!

I'm Charissa owner & lead planner. My doormat says it best, 'running on coffee, wine, and the dog's time', but seriously I start every intro call with the disclaimer that you may hear the barking, snoring, or a squeaky toy in the background. I highly recommend Charissa and her team if you're looking for a wedding coordinator/planner! She is so professional, organized, and just the nicest person ever. We had so many questions and worries but Charissa helped us feel at ease throughout it all. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND on the day of the wedding... literally hauling extra chairs with her throughout the botanic gardens so we could get our photographs!! LOL! You can just tell how much she cares about her clients and we so appreciated the effort. We also had Kevin on her team set-up the decor at the venue and they did an amazing job -- we were blown away when we arrived! We got tons of compliments from our guests at how lovely the entire wedding was and I know we could not have pulled it off without Charissa / Simply Loved Weddings!!
