Based in the Pocono Mountains, We Do Events offers custom wedding planning in the Hudson Valley, Poconos, and Catskills. Wherever you dream of saying “I do,” we’ll make sure your event is not just picturesque, it’s planned — and pulled off — to perfection. When our founder, Jilian Becker, was planning her own destination wedding in the Poconos back in 2016, she noticed a gap in the wedding industry in this pocket of the northeast. So, she decided to fill it. Now a top-rated, award-winning company, We Do Events serves couples in the Hudson Valley, Catskills, and Poconos region. We’re like the wedding guide we wish we’d had — and now you do.

Jilian is the leader behind We Do Events. She created We Do Events after a decade-long career with some of America's biggest brands, including Microsoft and Major League Soccer. Over the past eight years, her team has planned and produced over 100 weddings. Jilian lives in the Hudson Valley with her husband, two young children, and dog. In the summers you can find their family at their cottage in the Pocono Mountains.

It gives you the best of both worlds: all the day-of coordination from Wedding Management, plus 10 hours of consulting or execution from our team to be used however you’d like.     Working with Jilian was a delight. From day one, she was quick to reply to every email and on top of all the details. Our calls with her were always pleasant and productive. She quickly grasped our vision for the wedding and had lots of helpful tips. Our wedding was a little more DIY than most but Jilian took it in her stride. On the day of the wedding Paulina and Mary were a reassuring presence and did a great job of smoothing over minor hiccups. 10/10, would recommend.

    We cannot thank Jilian and Molly enough for all of the guidance, flexibility, and positivity to help make our wedding day stress free and fun. We had our wedding at a private property and they truly thought of the little details. They helped meet us where we were as we wanted to avoid a lot of traditional aspects of the wedding and fully supported us. I could not thank them enough and would absolutely recommend.

    Our work with Jilian began a year or so before the wedding, and we could have never predicted the level of help she would give us in getting ready for the day. From her checklists, to check-in emails and Zoom calls, she was always able to make great recommendations about vendors and timelines, and she would do research for us as well. She even put together a mood board that helped us pick out florals and bridal party looks. She is helpful, supportive, and fun... We look at it as some of the best money we spent on the process. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding planner, and although she wasn't our day-of coordinator (as our coordinator was employed through the venue), we're sure she would have been great at that as well.
