After booking and after the events, they send you information about what to expect, etc. I did quite a but of research into photography companies, and I would highly highly recommend Eivan's!”

“Working with The Bridal Beauty Team was nothing short of extraordinary. I booked with them somewhat far out from my wedding, but my call with Kate, the owner, as a consultation was a match right off the bat. She got to know me as a human not just a bride, and took great care in my vision for my day. Gina, whom I sincerely apologized to for all of my questions and emails (lol) was SO incredibly kind and patient and made any updates to our contract or services any time I asked! Now, onto the artists: I had my trial with Jeannette, who made me feel so beautiful and comfortable, I knew we were a good match! I felt confident with her as lead artist! On the day of, Jeannette, Myriam, Jenna, Lorena and Rene all exceeded any and all expectations. There were a total of 30 (I think) services being performed and I have never seen such a “well oiled machine” of hair and makeup before. They took time and care for each service but also moved so quickly that they were finished early. We didn’t have to start at 6am with that many people, which honestly, was a huge concern. Everyone felt and looked STUNNING and I truly could not stop staring at myself after my hair and makeup were finished. Haven’t gotten all of our professional photos back, so including what I can! Including a before photo, an after selfie, an iPhone photo at the end of the night & one of my professional photos from afar so you can see how glowy and dewy she made me look!”

“While looking for hair and makeup vendors, I’ve followed a lot on Instagram. I wanted a team who knew how to work with Asian hair and features. Windy City Glam was one of them. I wasn’t sure as far as my budget, but I knew I wanted to book ASAP and I’m so glad I did. I got on a call with Cathy and we talked about the standard things, how I normally wear my makeup, what products I normally use, how to prep my skin, if I had any ideas on how I wanted to wear my hair, stuff like that. She also listened to my concerns based off of past experiences with getting makeup done and it not holding up through the night based off of the application. I really felt as ease after getting off that call. My trial was 3 months before the wedding date and I got paired with Jean. How was it possible that I met my hairstylist/MUA and she knocked it out of the park. I just met this woman and she was able to work her magic on me! I took a walk in the neighborhood to get some food afterwards and apparently put my hair and makeup through the test of nature. It was so hot and wind was blowing left and right, everything stayed in tact! Which is so important to me since the wedding was going to be in July. The team reached out to me and asked if I wanted to get my hair/makeup done for the rehearsal or post wedding day. I was so sad that I overbooked myself and couldn’t make time. Fortunately, I was able to get my hair done for my bridal shower. I wanted to do something different because I didn’t want anyone to know what my wedding hair was going to look like. Jean listened to what I wanted to do and was able to do my hair beautifully. My hair was so nice, my friends who knew I wanted to do a half up half down, told me to reconsider and do an updo instead! I prepped my skin using their guide, and let’s be honest. I wanted to listen to everything Windy City Glam told me, because I wanted my hair and makeup to sit right, but it will only happen if I did my part in taking care of my skin and hair. Come the day of the wedding, Jean was early which personally to me means a lot. As soon as I sat in the chair, she asked me if I wanted to change things up from our first hair trial and I ended up making some minor adjustments. The makeup process was pretty similar, but honestly, had full faith in her. I’ve never felt so beautiful in my own skin. Looking in the mirror gave me that reassurance that I was pretty all along, it really spoke true to who I am and she did such a great job highlighting that. I also want to point out that while we were getting ready in the morning, Jean’s calmness and her passion, really put myself to ease. Not that I had any doubt in the hair/makeup, but I was just anxious all week. Watching her work on me, my family, I was just in awe which distracted me from the wedding jitters. My hair and makeup stayed in tact throughout the day, aside from me sobbing during the emotional parts, but nothing a little touch up can’t do. I cannot recommend having Windy City Glam enough, especially Jean, she’s so great and fun to work with. I wish our journey together never have to end. Book this team, you will not regret it.”

When some out-of-town guests couldn't make the rehearsal, Desire allowed us to cancel without penalty. She also helped with DJ equipment rental when our original rental fell through. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or coordinator for our special day. The Seville handled all the little details and last minute changes beautifully. “We had a BEAUTIFUL wedding at Silver Lake in early May 2026. When we toured the grounds a little over a year prior, in February 2025, we knew the same day that this would be our place. Not only is the setting beautiful, but we could tell from the beginning that our occasion mattered to Silver Lake staff. For something as meaningful as a wedding, you want to feel special. We felt supported and in good hands; that feeling was consistent throughout the planning process as I planned our wedding (without planner) and had many questions to ask Janene along the way. Amy was super hands-on for the day-of, making sure things went according to plan. She even made our rehearsal fun. Our guests all had a great time as well and have complimented us on the food service. I’d do it all over again, truly. Thank you Silver Lake!”

“We had our wedding at Moonflower, and it was amazing! We originally found Moonflower on Zola. Although we are from the area, we had never visited before, and the photos immediately caught our attention. The bar fit our vibe perfectly, and after visiting a few times, we knew it was the right place for us. We rented both spaces: the main bar upstairs and Nightshade, the speakeasy downstairs. Moonflower has a small stage in the main bar, which we used for our ceremony. The space already has so much character that it needed very little decorating. We brought small flower vases and an altar piece that the bride and her now mother in law made together. After the ceremony, we held cocktail hour and served food buffet style in the main bar. Later, everyone moved downstairs to Nightshade. Its lounge atmosphere and dance floor were perfect for our 50 to 60 guests. Some people relaxed around the cocktail tables while others danced, so everyone could enjoy the night in their own way. Moonflower’s event organizer, Morgan, was wonderful. She made the entire planning process feel easy and was a joy to work with. She helped turn our ideas into reality, assisting with day of logistics, décor, beverage packages, and every question that came up. She was always responsive and available. Morgan also helped us think through details that had not occurred to us, including coffee for our guests, explaining the parking situation, contacting nearby businesses about using their lots, and recommending DJs. We ultimately hired one of the DJs she suggested. Her extra support was incredibly helpful and took a great deal of stress out of planning. If you have not tried Moonflower’s drinks, you are missing out. Their regular cocktail menu is fantastic, and our experience was even more special because of a custom cocktail session with Zach. He created signature drink options for each of us based on our tastes and favorite cocktails. Every option was spectacular, and the final drinks felt personal and special. We chose Funeral Potatoes for the food. Since they already handle the food at Moonflower, we were able to try many dishes beforehand. Our guests raved about everything. We especially recommend the brussels sprouts, deviled eggs, and caprese sandwiches. Alexis, who heads up Funeral Potatoes, was also extremely helpful with selecting the menu. The only outside food we brought in was our wedding cake. The entire staff was phenomenal. Everyone treated the occasion with the perfect balance of care, professionalism, and fun. The night went off without a hitch and was truly one of the best nights of our lives. Moonflower was also extremely reasonable compared with other venues we considered in the city, especially with an open bar and food available on site. Street parking was plentiful, and none of our guests had trouble finding a spot. For anyone looking for a relaxed wedding for 50 to 60 people with a memorable lounge atmosphere, fantastic staff, buffet style food, and exceptional cocktails, Moonflower should be at the top of your list.”

“Working with Blair was probably the best decision we made during the process of planning our wedding. My husband and I both work 9-5 corporate jobs, and we knew that we needed to bring someone onto our “wedding team” that would help keep us on track with all of the milestones during the wedding planning process. From the get-go, over our 15-month planning period, Blair was always transparent about timing and was a master of following up regarding timelines, without ever badgering us or coming across as controlling. She spent over an hour discussing budgets with us and our families early on, to make sure that everything we planned stayed in the budget range that we’d all agreed upon. This was especially helpful during our venue and vendor selection process. She helped us find that blew our socks off, and also found us the most wonderful florist (@thelocalpetaler) who was able to provide us way more bang for our buck than any florist we’d be able to find on our own - a huge advantage. While we had our venue already picked out, Blair was able to recommend a food and beverage package with an available catering company that fell delivered us fantastic food and a premium beverage package that fit our budget.   Leading up to the wedding, Blair was also a master in helping us coordinate our wedding day planning including family photos, transportation e.g. coordinating our bus between multiple hotels and the venue while making it easy for us to just focus on ourselves. The peace of mind that Blair brought us throughout the planning process, week of, and day of our wedding made having our wedding a cakewalk rather than a headache. Spending the money to hire Blair was the best decision we could’ve made for our wedding!”

He was so easy to work with and was incredibly responsive by email - which was extra important to us because we were planning a wedding from afar! “Grace from SEG was such a pleasure to work with! Crazy to think we only met her twice in person. She was super helpful in communicating with vendors, sending over final floor plans and guest lists, and ensuring our vendors had everything they needed, as well as ensuring our actual wedding day went smoothly. “Nova Photos did an incredible job at capturing our wedding day! Our coordinator made sure to ask for thorough details and asked us many questions to ensure our day came out smooth. Our photographer was Florin and he was amazing!!! Attentive, respectful, honest and personable. He made our experience so easy and we did not worry about capturing every important morning of our day. He posed us in creative ways while also taking traditional shots, made sure we had enough photos with everyone we wanted to take it with (we had a group of friends/family with us), and he made suggestions that we ended up loving as far as location/poses. The quality of the photos is very clear and high quality! We enjoyed the filters and editing that was done as well; it was not overdone. The dance floor was going all night long and we got so many compliments from all our guests. We said we wanted Miami vibes for our wedding and THEY DELIVERED.
