“George Street was fantastic! I got to hop on a video call with one of their coordinators and she was great. She let me ask all the questions and gave me all the information I needed. I picked my photographer, Taylor, based on her portfolio and I couldn't have been happier! Her personality was exactly what I was wanting and her photos turned out beautifully. The package we paid for came with SO MUCH and for such a good price. I was honestly skeptical that I was getting scammed and just prayed it was all as legit as it looked. It sure was! I paid a fraction of what some other recently married friends paid and got more photos back and other perks than they did from their photographers! We got an engagement session, a photo album, and EVERY. SINGLE. PICTURE. from our wedding day. There were over 5,000 photos sent back to us! Not to mention the use of a second shooter AND a videographer on the day of! We got a highlight version of our wedding day and a long version with every important moment. The quality was amazing! Overall, the communication was always great, we got our photos back quickly, the portal was easy to navigate, and our photographer was the best! “Chicago couples looking for a gorgeous venue with natural light and a massive bar, THE most helpful and responsive wedding planners, and delicious cocktails and food, you've found your perfect match with Walden! We toured Walden in June 2024 and we couldn't help but compare every other venue we looked at to Walden because Walden was - simply put - the BEST! Even before we officially signed with Walden, we felt very taken care of by Maria who gave us our tour and she assured us we'd feel that way with our planners and day-of coordinators, which she was spot on about! We were super impressed by the physical space (the tall ceilings! brick walls! gorgeous ceremony and getting ready space!) and by the bartender-to-guest ratio (highly recommend asking about this at venues if you have a lively guest list like we did!), but our Walden planners are what made our day SO special and truly stress-free. Krystle and Katie Rose (our wedding planners) were thoughtful, professional, encouraging, creative and fun throughout the entire process. I remember them saying "we like to have our couples in a bubble on the day of" meaning they would be around to coordinate everything from steaming dresses, to making sure the bus knew where to park, to ensuring all of us ate, and more! Krystle and Katie Rose provided helpful deadlines, documents (like a "details" check list) and vendor recommendations to us throughout the planning process, and I appreciated their honesty when it came to vendors we were inquiring about. They truly are experts in their craft and were such a joy to work with. I don't think I ever waited more than 24 hours for a response from either of them. Day of, there were several coordinators at all times, so we felt very taken care of. The food and drinks were out of this world. We got so many compliments from guests about the appetizers, the flow of dinner, and the kind bartenders. Another perk of Walden is that it hosts an incredible, unique tasting for couples. Walden hosts several couples and their guests at the same time, so you can see what the space looks like when it's full, you can see how accommodating the catering and bar staff are, and you can sample the delicious food and drinks. The location can't be beat, especially for guests staying downtown and if you want to take photos in the city with your wedding party. We know we'll be back at Walden for future weddings since so many of our friends were SO impressed by the venue and staff. Thanks, Walden!!!”

BW Studio+Events is a Chicago-based event coordination and planning group serving Chicagoland and surrounding suburbs. The Studio focuses on intimate weddings with unique flair and lots of personal touches. Blair founded BW Studio after hosting a number of non-profit events and finding herself completely immersed in the process. Once she realized her knack for event organization and planning, the studio was quickly born.

“We gave DJ Frederick one task (dance floor party all night long) and he absolutely crushed it! We always wanted our dance floor to be one (including us) that no one wanted to leave and we never did. He effortlessly transitioned the night from the intros to speeches to cake cutting to dancing. He was such a fun presence to be around and was dancing the night away with us from behind the booth. We were so pleased even during dinner, he played literally all of our favorite songs - we had made an 8 hour long playlist for him to sift through and somehow he chose the best ones and curated the perfect dinner vibe. DJ Frederick was so great throughout the whole wedding - checking in with us every so often and really making it feel like we were running the show but in a completely low stress way. Even leading up to our wedding, I was worried about the timeline/order of events and Frederick immediately jumped on another call with us to run through everything again. DJ Frederick and Toast and Jam were so easy to work with and super communicative. We are so happy with our choice and would recommend Toast and Jam to anyone and everyone!”

“I cannot remember how exactly I found Glow Bridal Co, but I remember loving how understanding Tricia was when I did not respond right away due to being so overwhelmed with wedding planning. I was happy how willing she was to do another trial if I felt was needed (although i did not end up doing another one and I was happy with how i looked on my wedding day). I had a total of 5 people for makeup & 7 people for hair, not including myself. I do not remember the exact pricing, but I felt like they were reasonably price. The most important thing is I felt beautiful with my hair and makeup. The only thing I did not like was that Tricia and Paola left the hotel the day of my wedding without checking to see if I needed anything touched up one last time. My mom and I had stepped away for a few minutes, and, when we came back, they were gone. Thankfully, I did not realize this until after my wedding day, and I think i was fine, but i do think they should have checked with me before leaving. Overall, I am happy with the service I received & would recommend them for hair & makeup”

“Finding and working with Nicole was one of the best decisions I could have ever made for mine and my husbands wedding. Nicole from day one made sure to make herself available and was so informative. No matter how many questions I had or if I just wanted to update her about something she was always there, literally a friend from a far. Leading up to wedding day Nicole checked in with me and made sure she was current and up to date with all things wedding, she assisted me with the timeline and overall flow of the wedding day and even added in some suggestions. Nicole showed up on wedding day and it was so nice finally meeting her in person after almost a year of Facetime, calls, and texts. I have never met someone more professional. She was so prepared, focused, and never lost sight of both the big picture of the day and how we were doing in the moment.
