“We were looking for a wedding venue that wouldn't break our budget (compared to the expensive options in Chicago), and delivered on charm and quality. And WOW, what an outstanding wedding venue!!! Sahra, the coordinator at the Community House, was incredible and highly attentive to detail - served as a clear point of contact for our planner. We planned a late September wedding in the outdoor courtyard garden under the stars, and couldn't have imagined a better day. I was nervous initially about feeling tight in the courtyard with our headcount - we had about 150 people, a mix of round and long tables, and a live band and everything fit PERFECTLY! Gorgeous scenery around the Community House as well, perfect for wedding photos. Truly a gem of a venue and such a special place. Best part is that there is an indoor option in the case of any weather event - we were happy to have enjoyed the outdoors, but not every outdoor venue has a plan B!”

“I’m SO satisfied with our experience booking with George Street! I was drawn to them because I thought they were more reasonably priced compared to what some individual photographers are charging these days (we’re in the Seattle market), but I didn’t feel like the price advantage came at a sacrifice of quality. I loved the photos our photographer John C. took (who was AMAZING!) for both our engagement/portrait session and of course the photos on the day of the wedding. He did a fantastic job capturing all the beautiful memories we made that day, and we are so grateful. The booking process was really simple, too—I arranged a meeting with one of their sales reps (Amber) who did an excellent job explaining exactly how their company works, the packages available, how to choose your photographer and so on. Once we booked with them, we were given access to an online portal to put in all the necessary info that would be passed along to the photographer. One thing I would say is that because you are contracting with a company and not the individual photographer, you aren’t able to communicate directly with the photographer very often. You really are hiring them for photography only, so collaborating with them on the event timeline and other details is not really an option. Any questions you have generally need to be sent via the wedding coordinators at George Street, as you won’t even receive your photographer’s email or phone number until you actually meet them (it’s possible this is not the case for everyone, but just our experience). To be clear, this was NOT an issue for us at all, but just something to be aware of if a more hands-on photographer that can help with coordination and planning is really what you’re looking for.”

After booking and after the events, they send you information about what to expect, etc. I did quite a but of research into photography companies, and I would highly highly recommend Eivan's!”

They took the time to really listen to what I was looking for and made sure everything was perfect. I felt so comfortable with them, and they made the trial fun and relaxing. On the wedding day, we decided to add Natalia to the team after discussing with the owner, and it turned out to be the best decision. Having an additional stylist really helped speed up the process, and everything ran so smoothly as a result. They brought everything they needed, including lighting, and set up in no time. They were punctual, organized, and ready to get started as soon as we arrived at the venue. Throughout the morning, Eva, Maria, and Natalia were a joy to be around. They kept the whole group on time without making it feel rushed, which was such a relief with all the wedding-day chaos. They were also fun to talk to and kept the mood light, which made the getting-ready process so enjoyable. I had a bit of a rash on my shoulder that day, and I was really concerned about it. But the team worked their magic and expertly covered it – I couldn’t even tell it was there! They also added on makeup services for my mother-in-law at the last minute, which was so thoughtful. My mother-in-law was absolutely thrilled with how she looked and felt so special. In the end, I felt absolutely stunning on my wedding day, and I have "Hairs 2 the Bride" to thank for that. In a room full of family and people who love us, I was equally if not more excited to see Ro’s and Hulda’s faces in the crowd. The venue is gorgeous, the food is amazing, but also the level of attention and care on the actual day is more than we could have ever imagined. We are so grateful to Chicago Winery. “We were looking for a modern, not-too-stuffy venue to host our summer 2025 wedding. We were thrilled when we found Walden and saw the beautiful, modern, space that would allow for the ceremony & reception in one location and that we could create our own vision of the day. The space is beautiful on its own but can be transformed into whatever vision you may have. With a late June wedding, we wanted it to be a colorful and intimate affair. Having the planning team on site made the process extremely smooth and it was invaluable to have their insight, experience and knowledge of the venue. Krystle and Katie were on the ball and there were no hiccups or issues during the planning process or day of (as far as we know!). They have strong relationships with our vendors (band, florist, linens, lighting, etc) which gave us peace of mind and allowed us to focus on other things. Catering in-house is a huge perk and the kitchen was top notch helping us create our non-traditional menu and food service. Bar options went well beyond typical packages in terms of quality of product and idea generation of drink selection and creation. Universally, guests said that the food and beverage were the best they had had at a wedding! Overall, we are thrilled with how everything turned out on our wedding day and much of that happiness has to do with having it at Walden!”

We have extremely busy schedules and we travel often, so the frequent reminders and check-ins were crucial. “Trish and her team did a fantastic job with my wedding day hair and makeup. She was on time and organized, and we were able to get the whole wedding party done up in style. (She even accommodated some groomsmen requests for a little under eye concealer after a late night before the wedding) I wanted to feel like a princess on my wedding day, and Trish delivered, complete with working the tiara into the wedding style. Trish also did a fabulous job with a different look that I wore in my engagement photos. The photos turned out so well and I had never felt prettier in my life, except on my wedding day! On the wedding morning, though, I wanted a slightly different hairstyle and makeup look to mix things up - Trish was able to see my vision even without a Pinterest inspo pic and I was stunned when I looked in the mirror.
