“I have no doubt of the talent that overflows from this studio, but mine and my (now husband!)'s hearts were set on Rob after we spent 3 hours hanging out with him, sheltering from the cold rain since we motorcycled there. His grace and warm demeanor belies how quickly and astutely he notices little details, almost like a supercomputer (or like a Rob...ot! hah). He is an expert at assessing lighting situations, but what's even more impressive is how he can massage the vibe of the room to herd people where he wants them to go. Also, his double-holster camera setup makes him look so freakin cool! I often feel like weddings are an elaborate play/dinner, meant to entertain and satiate the family members who attend. Considering the stress of being project manager and hostess, having Rob for our engagement shoot and on our wedding day was something we both looked forward to immensely. Things are fun with him! And he's so thoughtful, another relief from stressful planning and expectations. He went rooting through the shrubbery and got us pictures of adorable bumblebees, remembering that we were so smitten by them during our engagement shoot :) He didn't find any snails, though! Oh, well! I'm often critical of photographers' work because I am so critical of my own. But, without a doubt, I recognize the leagues of honed talent that Rob has, as well as his studio! The assistant, Lilly, is smart and such a sweetheart, and whoever does the editing -- Emily? -- is awesome. We had about 55 people which made for a cozy and intimate wedding that never felt cramped or awkward in the space. The 408 is already so beautifully decorated which allowed us to bring in minimal items and utilize items already at the 408 such as candles, vases, and plants to decorate the tables and ceremony space. Maria (event manager) was fantastic throughout the planning process answering every question quickly and with detail, and the staff the day of was professional, incredibly friendly, and attentive. From the start, their communication style was direct, helpful, and calming, which was greatly appreciated as we planned our big day. The quality of their work and value they provided was outstanding - they were focused, supportive, and incredibly well-connected in the region, using their network of vendors to perfectly execute our wedding and beautifully and bringing our garden party tent reception vision to life. On the day of, Eliza ran the schedule effortlessly and her competence completely allowed my husband and I to be fully present. In particular, we appreciated the way that she approached us over the course of the wedding to check if we still wanted to do the next scheduled item, it gave us a sense of control over how we spent our time rather than feeling like we were manically running from task to task. So many of our friends and family have reported back that the wedding was the smoothest of the weddings they had attended this year, and its all thanks to WPP. “Justin was lovely to work with from the start. He was booked for another wedding, but he paired us up with Rob, an associate DJ of his. Both Rob and Justin were so so fun to work with. Rob took the time to text or set up whatever zoom calls we felt we needed. For the actual day, Rob was amazing. We had dinner service, reception, and "after party". Robs killed it with his flow between songs, and was incredibly accommodating and flexible if we had any requests in the moment, and was able to dodge or handle any "questionable" song requests that came his way. We knew that he always put my husband and I's wishes first. We also had multiple people comment on how good the DJ was during the reception, and after the fact! He also went above and beyond to pull heroics the day of to get some of our DIY spot lighting set up that wasn't set up the night prior. Rob was incredible to work with, and just as fun to chat with. Will miss working with them, but absolutely will be following their journeys and would use them again in a heartbeat! So thankful for Justin and Rob!”

“My husband and I had our wedding at Blenheim Hill Farm this past weekend 10/26/2024 and it was an absolute dream. Not only was it the dreamiest wedding because we got married in front of all of the people we love, but because of the absolutely beautiful venue and the team that brought it to life. Morten & Min, the owners were so helpful, kind and just the brightest lights from the moment we met them when we toured the venue through the planning phase and our wedding day. They clearly have a very buttoned up and efficient process, which showed the day of. Now let me talk about the rest of staff … they are AMAZING. We worked with Lawrence and Rosie the weeks leading up to our wedding and the day of and not only did they go above and beyond at their jobs, they truly seemed so happy to be there. There were a number of other team members behind the scenes that helped bring together a seamless wedding (we barely even noticed them - in a good way!) so thank you to the team. This includes the chefs cooking it up in the kitchen, while we didn’t see you … we were told by friends and family how delicious the food was / it was the best wedding food they ever had. The risotto…. Oh my was it delicious!! Another amazing benefit of Blenheim Hill Farm was their recommended babysitter, Victoria - she watched 5 of the kids who attended ceremony but not reception right on the grounds. She made arts and crafts and carved pumpkins with them! The parents and kids were very happy with her. Lastly, all we have to say is….. GET MARRIED HERE!!!!”

Blenheim Hill Farm is a heavenly wedding destination in the Catskills Mountains. Our capacity is from 70-200 guests. We grow the food and cook it for you in our own kitchen. You don't have to worry about outside catering, rentals, or even a planner. Our in-house team helps you every step of the way, and everything is included. Our historic farmhouses are gorgeously appointed sanctuaries for you and your family, sleeping up to 40 guests. “SoundFormula Entertainment, Mike, and DJ Dave Ali are the greatest. If you are looking to book a DJ then your work is done and you have to book with SoundFormula. Mike is extremely professional and organized and was helpful with every step of our wedding. Dave Ali was our DJ for our wedding day and was legitimately the best. He went above and beyond our expectations and did everything that we asked. He edited our first dance song to be perfect and checked in with us throughout the night. We got multiple compliments from all of our guests about how great the music was and our dance floor was exactly what we envisioned. Thank you Mike and Dave!”

“My partner Sky and I had the dream summer wedding we envisioned at Seven Ponds. For our wedding we wanted to emulate these weekend trips we do upstate with a close group of friends and just make it bigger to include our family. Seven Ponds farm provided our two requirements of what we were looking for - a big house that could fit all our friends and a swimming pond right on the property. We also really appreciated that we didn't need to hire a wedding planner and could utilize the venues resources for all the planning aspects. We really appreciated how the Seven Ponds staff let us do our own thing throughout the weekend for a really relaxed environment, but then whenever we needed them they were right there helping with things like doing a practice run of the ceremony and answering specific questions about the house etc. It was also so wonderful that the staff were able to handle things like setting up the tables and the candles for us for the wedding dinner. Overall the forms and calls for the planning process were really helpful. We did have a little frustration at the wedding tasting as we thought it was an opportunity to ask questions about the food and overall found out that they really don't want you asking many questions and would prefer you to just read the written packet they provide without interacting in person with questions. I would also recommend being well versed on the packet you purchased as they won't be able to answer questions about what packet you bought. This was a bit different than we expected and knowing what I know now I might recommend not bringing family or friends to the tasting or otherwise just preparing them to just fill out the paperwork quietly as us not realizing this made for a more difficult tasting experience. There was also one staff member at the tasting who was a bit rude to our family members and I was so worried that this negative energy would be reflected at our wedding so I asked for a different wedding coordinator to lead our wedding. Overall the impersonal nature of the tasting also just made me really worried that the wedding would have the same feel and so I wanted to include this to note that while the tasting process wasn't as personal this was not the case at the wedding and the wedding atmosphere was really lovely. After the tasting I asked for Rosie to be our lead wedding coordinator as she had a much warmer energy and I can't recommend Rosie enough. She truly made our wedding experience. If you're looking for a wedding coordinator who has a graceful upbeat energy, stays calm and is easy to communicate with definitely ask for Rosie. There was a big storm on the day of our wedding and Rosie was so helpful staying calm and telling me to not loose hope about doing the ceremony outside. Morten was also really great with a specific weather device he had that allowed us to see when we had a good window to do the ceremony outside and very happy to say it all worked out and we got our dream outdoor ceremony. Overall I really got the wedding I dreamed of and we had such a relaxed and personal atmosphere. We really appreciated all the work the staff did to set up the wedding which allowed us to really just have fun, enjoy and not worry about logistical details. We so appreciated the flower package the venue provided for setting up the flowers and the bonfire packages. Overall we loved our wedding so much and are so happy we went with Seven Ponds! :)”
