“Kyle was amazing to work with for our wedding! His communication throughout the planning process was always professional, quick, and organized. Kyle shared a detailed Google Doc with us to fill in with our personalized timeline of the day and preferences for music and announcements. About a month before the wedding, he scheduled a video call to go through that timeline step by step and to make sure he understood all of our requests. We shared specific songs we wanted for things like walking down the aisle and first dance and were able to share entire playlists of requests for things like music to play during cocktail hour, dinner, and our reception. On the day, Kyle was a rockstar. Everything was set up and ready to go well before our ceremony began. During the ceremony, the audio was excellent. From the volume of the music as we walked down the aisle, to the mics set up for us and our officiant, to the transition into our recessional, all of it was incredible. At the end of cocktail hour, Kyle pulled me aside just to review our entrance into the reception, which helped alleviate some nerves for me! And of course Kyle shined brightest during DANCING! He read the room, kept the energy high, and added in some awesome mixes and transitions that worked so well. We added on the photo booth and printer which was a huge hit! There were two print outs of each photo strip and you could even enter your phone number to get a digital version of the strip plus a video of all 4 photos rotating. This was super helpful especially for sharing large group photos. Kyle also sent us the digital copies of ALL of the photos and videos from the photo booth. We would highly recommend hiring Underfloor Music for your next event!”

“I have no doubt of the talent that overflows from this studio, but mine and my (now husband!)'s hearts were set on Rob after we spent 3 hours hanging out with him, sheltering from the cold rain since we motorcycled there. His grace and warm demeanor belies how quickly and astutely he notices little details, almost like a supercomputer (or like a Rob...ot! hah). He is an expert at assessing lighting situations, but what's even more impressive is how he can massage the vibe of the room to herd people where he wants them to go. Also, his double-holster camera setup makes him look so freakin cool! I often feel like weddings are an elaborate play/dinner, meant to entertain and satiate the family members who attend. Considering the stress of being project manager and hostess, having Rob for our engagement shoot and on our wedding day was something we both looked forward to immensely. Things are fun with him! And he's so thoughtful, another relief from stressful planning and expectations. He went rooting through the shrubbery and got us pictures of adorable bumblebees, remembering that we were so smitten by them during our engagement shoot :) He didn't find any snails, though! Oh, well! I'm often critical of photographers' work because I am so critical of my own. But, without a doubt, I recognize the leagues of honed talent that Rob has, as well as his studio! The assistant, Lilly, is smart and such a sweetheart, and whoever does the editing -- Emily? -- is awesome. “We only needed to tour one venue, and it was Blenheim. After our initial walkthrough of the space, we were convinced that this was everything that we could want in a venue and then some. Having over 12 years of wedding planning experience, Min and Morten offered us assurance that our wedding day would be executed beautifully- and it was. “Absolutely stunning venue. The wedding went amazing with the help of Julie and Olivia along with the staff at Seven Ponds on our wedding day. The day was seamless and taking advantage of staying on site made the day feel stress free. It was great to have food and drink covered with the venue as this was one less vendor that could have caused stress on the big day! Planning forms were helpful to make sure all things were covered and things went according to plan. Only thing with the planning process is it seemed as if Seven Ponds tried to upsell everything and questioned some of our decisions although after talking to them, a compromise came about. Couldn’t have been happier to pick the venue for our special day and we will remember the beauty of the venue forever.”

In the midst of wedding planning busyness, Becca led a thorough meeting with us (the couple) going over the day-of schedule, and covering an exhaustive comprehensive list of all possible photos, helping us prioritize the ones we needed and letting go of those that may have ended up stressing us out to try to take! She made sure to be sensitive to all our hopes for photos, family dynamics, and more. “I feel so blessed and grateful to have found Brookledge for my wedding day. Helen, Brooke, and the rest of the Brookledge team are simply the best. We chose Brookledge after a FaceTime call with Helen. We live 5 hours away and wanted to make a decision. After speaking with Helen, we just knew that this was the place. We were so supposed through the planning stage. They recommended excellent vendors. Our guests loved the food! We chose the wedding weekend option where you could stay Friday to Sunday and had friends and family members stay on the property as well. My husband and I decided to add on Thursday night, and I would definitely recommend if you are traveling to Brookledge! Being the space early was so helpful. Brookledge really is a gem and if you have the opportunity to get married there, do it! You won’t regret it.”
