“We got married in June 2024, and had Thaddeus as our DJ. Mackenzie took care of the photo-booth. Over the course of the 9 months leading up to the wedding I probably had 4 or 5 calls with Thaddeus to give him the general vibe we were looking for & work out details. He was professional, honest, and gave great feedback. We had many specific asks and Thaddeus made sure all of our wants fit into his plan. Once the party was going, we gave Thaddeus the creative freedom to do his thing & make sure our guests had a good time. He totally delivered. I absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ that can keep the party going! Mackenzie was great to work with as well. Empire State Events got more backdrops to choose from in the middle of our planning, so she gave me the option to switch! I’m glad we did, the eucalyptus backdrop fit perfectly with our vision. Mackenzie was incredibly friendly & ready to help anyone that needed assistance. Our guests loved the photo-booth & our kids/nieces & nephews were entertained too! Win-win!”

We were able to customize and add specific notes to the time line as well. It’s truly a dream for any type A Bride. Besides providing the music, we also chose to use Mikes photobooth service. Our guest were able to take prints home and leave a print in our guest book. It was so nice to be able to look at all the photos and messages that were left by our guests. Within a few days after our wedding Mike also provided us the links to all the photobooth photos. We were unsure about lighting but with Mikes guidance he knew exactly what we needed based on our music choices. We are so grateful for his expertise because it turned out absolutely amazing. Not to mention he came early to set up and ran the whole thing on his own without missing a beat. Truly a 10/10 experience for us. We highly recommend Mike! P.S Our only word of advice…This didn’t affect us in the moment but we did get a lot of feedback from our guests that since we did not have mics our guest could not hear our vows clearly during our ceremony. This is something to consider discussing with Mike if you plan to have him.”

“Review for Blenheim Hill Farm Blenheim Hill Farm was the wedding venue of our dreams. From our very first meeting, the owners, Min and Morten, went above and beyond to make us feel supported and cared for. They were personally involved every step of the way — from answering our endless planning questions, to leading us through the tasting, to being hands-on during our big day. The venue itself is picture perfect: set on over 100 acres of peaceful countryside, it offers both privacy and freedom — we loved that we could have a live band, late-night dancing, and even a custom firework show without worrying about noise ordinances. The charm of the working farm added such a special touch, from guests petting goats upon arrival to enjoying eggs fresh from the coop at our Sunday brunch. The food was absolutely incredible — so many of our guests told us it was the best wedding meal they’ve ever had. And when light rain threatened our outdoor ceremony, Min and Morten worked tirelessly to hold off the rain plan until the last possible moment; the skies cleared just in time, and their team quickly ensured every seat was dry and perfect. One small note for future couples: plan your guest transportation carefully. We had guests staying in Windham, which added a bit of stress with bus logistics — in hindsight, we’d recommend nearby Airbnbs or closer towns. Still, everything about our experience at Blenheim Hill Farm was magical, and we’re endlessly grateful to Min, Morten, and their team for helping us create a day we’ll cherish forever.”

“My partner Sky and I had the dream summer wedding we envisioned at Seven Ponds. For our wedding we wanted to emulate these weekend trips we do upstate with a close group of friends and just make it bigger to include our family. Seven Ponds farm provided our two requirements of what we were looking for - a big house that could fit all our friends and a swimming pond right on the property. We also really appreciated that we didn't need to hire a wedding planner and could utilize the venues resources for all the planning aspects. We really appreciated how the Seven Ponds staff let us do our own thing throughout the weekend for a really relaxed environment, but then whenever we needed them they were right there helping with things like doing a practice run of the ceremony and answering specific questions about the house etc. It was also so wonderful that the staff were able to handle things like setting up the tables and the candles for us for the wedding dinner. Overall the forms and calls for the planning process were really helpful. We did have a little frustration at the wedding tasting as we thought it was an opportunity to ask questions about the food and overall found out that they really don't want you asking many questions and would prefer you to just read the written packet they provide without interacting in person with questions. I would also recommend being well versed on the packet you purchased as they won't be able to answer questions about what packet you bought. This was a bit different than we expected and knowing what I know now I might recommend not bringing family or friends to the tasting or otherwise just preparing them to just fill out the paperwork quietly as us not realizing this made for a more difficult tasting experience. There was also one staff member at the tasting who was a bit rude to our family members and I was so worried that this negative energy would be reflected at our wedding so I asked for a different wedding coordinator to lead our wedding. Overall the impersonal nature of the tasting also just made me really worried that the wedding would have the same feel and so I wanted to include this to note that while the tasting process wasn't as personal this was not the case at the wedding and the wedding atmosphere was really lovely. After the tasting I asked for Rosie to be our lead wedding coordinator as she had a much warmer energy and I can't recommend Rosie enough. She truly made our wedding experience. If you're looking for a wedding coordinator who has a graceful upbeat energy, stays calm and is easy to communicate with definitely ask for Rosie. There was a big storm on the day of our wedding and Rosie was so helpful staying calm and telling me to not loose hope about doing the ceremony outside. Morten was also really great with a specific weather device he had that allowed us to see when we had a good window to do the ceremony outside and very happy to say it all worked out and we got our dream outdoor ceremony. Overall I really got the wedding I dreamed of and we had such a relaxed and personal atmosphere. We really appreciated all the work the staff did to set up the wedding which allowed us to really just have fun, enjoy and not worry about logistical details. We so appreciated the flower package the venue provided for setting up the flowers and the bonfire packages. Overall we loved our wedding so much and are so happy we went with Seven Ponds! :)”

He played everything we asked which was a big deal for us. We had several songs that had hidden meanings. Our dance floor was packed all night and our guests are still talking about what an amazing time they had a month later. Two of our friends are getting married and I'm pretty sure Shawn will be their DJ. My grandfather even danced and I don't think he has done that since our wedding. Everything was just perfect. “Becca, and her second shooter Liz, were amazing to work with. From the start Becca was easy to talk to, and so helpful in the planning process; from her helpful planning videos you receive as a client, planned video calls, her detailed timeline, and photography form to fill out, she made the whole planning process so much easier. She also gave lots of great advice for the day, including the decision to do a first look ahead of the ceremony. I was hesitant at first as I wanted to do the real reveal at the church, but after talking with her we decided to do the first look. I’m so glad we did as Becca was right, it took a lot of pressure of the rest of the day and gave us time to really soak that moment in just the two of us. This also allowed us more time to enjoy other parts of our day like attending the entire cocktail hour! Looking forward to the day, I was worried that I was going to hate having to take so many photos and being in front of the camera and felt like it was going to feel like wasted time in the day. Now, I am so happy that I had Becca for this, my husband and I had so much fun interacting with the photographers. Becca gave great instructions and had lots of fun prompts/conversation pieces to help us loosen in front of the camera and to look more natural. “Thomas and his team were wonderful for our wedding in December! Right from the start he was super helpful to give us all the information and didn't sugar coat anything. I will say I was a little suspicious at first when he said "I can do any style you want" I know some photographers only stick to certain styles. And with our wedding being in Sturbridge MA I was expecting a travel fee. But he wanted us to make sure that he was a professional, he keeps things fair all across the board. Thomas is also super quick when it comes to messaging! If I had any questions he would respond rather quickly. He surpassed my expectations with how accommodating him and his team were when working with us, even changing our minds about packages and addon's only a couple weeks out. On the actually day of the wedding, Thomas and his team were truly our hype men! Even when I was getting ready with my bridesmaids he was in on all of our jokes and making us laugh. “Brookledge is such a wonderful spot. Our wedding weekend was literally perfect! Not only because of the beautiful venue, but because of the amazing personalities behind Brookledge. Helen, Amber, and the rest of the staff make everything happen for their Brookledge couples and guests. One of my wedding guests mentioned how calm and relaxed our wedding felt, and that is exactly how I felt the entire weekend as well. The power ended up going out during our reception, and Amber already had a back up plan to keep the show running. All of our guests that stayed the weekend complimented how cute and fun the venue was, and we were lucky enough to be the first ones to use the new Trolley and Jean & Lise cabin! The rest of our guests have been raving about the venue as well. If you are considering Brookledge as your wedding venue, or even just a quick stay in one of their various lodging spots, DO IT!!!!
