“Normanside was the first venue we looked at and honestly anything after it just didn't compare. We kept finding ourselves coming back to Normanside as our favorite for several reasons. We really wanted a ceremony outside but reception indoors (for A/C) which they offered (and on top of that, the outside patio has an awning incase of rain, you're covered, literally). The packages offered are extremely reasonable. With several options and add-ons available we were really able to customize exactly what we wanted. We also loved that everythinge is on one level (as we had some guests unable to do stairs). The finished patio off the bar is beautiful. Our guests loved playing cornhole during cocktail hour and throughout the evening. Jaimie was awesome and on top of things every step of the way. She was easy to work with, very responsive any time we reached out and always professional. Jaimie and Dave were very accommodating to our wants and needs. From the scenery to the staff and everything in between Normanside made our wedding what it was. We couldn't be more thankful we choose them as our venue.”

The Lucy Brate Barn at Mead Family Farm

“We had our wedding at the Lucy Brate Barn, and it was an incredibly beautiful, charming, and seamless event. The venue (and our photos) looked amazing, and we got so many compliments from our guests. The Mead Family Farm is so scenic, with the barn looking out over a small valley where you may catch a glimpse of the cows grazing in green fields between the rolling hills. The barn is impressively huge, easily fitting our 100 guests with plenty of room to spare. It has such an old-timey charm, made even cozier by the lights, flowers, and decorations. The large doors were wide open, letting in the breezy summer night air, and our guests were also enjoying the outdoor spaces, especially the beautiful patio out back, lined with flowers and greenery and decked with hanging lights. The farm was such a gorgeous place to get married! The Mead-Neff family is so hardworking, helpful, and accommodating — and incredibly calm and collected under the pressure of such a large event. They made the planning process easy and smooth, and they were there for us every step of the way. They really went above and beyond for us, and we are so grateful to them for making our wedding such a special and beautiful event! Thank you!!! “Kyle was amazing to work with for our wedding! His communication throughout the planning process was always professional, quick, and organized. Kyle shared a detailed Google Doc with us to fill in with our personalized timeline of the day and preferences for music and announcements. About a month before the wedding, he scheduled a video call to go through that timeline step by step and to make sure he understood all of our requests. We shared specific songs we wanted for things like walking down the aisle and first dance and were able to share entire playlists of requests for things like music to play during cocktail hour, dinner, and our reception. On the day, Kyle was a rockstar. Everything was set up and ready to go well before our ceremony began. During the ceremony, the audio was excellent. From the volume of the music as we walked down the aisle, to the mics set up for us and our officiant, to the transition into our recessional, all of it was incredible. At the end of cocktail hour, Kyle pulled me aside just to review our entrance into the reception, which helped alleviate some nerves for me! And of course Kyle shined brightest during DANCING! He read the room, kept the energy high, and added in some awesome mixes and transitions that worked so well. We added on the photo booth and printer which was a huge hit! There were two print outs of each photo strip and you could even enter your phone number to get a digital version of the strip plus a video of all 4 photos rotating. This was super helpful especially for sharing large group photos. Kyle also sent us the digital copies of ALL of the photos and videos from the photo booth. We would highly recommend hiring Underfloor Music for your next event!”

“Justin was lovely to work with from the start. He was booked for another wedding, but he paired us up with Rob, an associate DJ of his. Both Rob and Justin were so so fun to work with. Rob took the time to text or set up whatever zoom calls we felt we needed. For the actual day, Rob was amazing. We had dinner service, reception, and "after party". Robs killed it with his flow between songs, and was incredibly accommodating and flexible if we had any requests in the moment, and was able to dodge or handle any "questionable" song requests that came his way. We knew that he always put my husband and I's wishes first. We also had multiple people comment on how good the DJ was during the reception, and after the fact! He also went above and beyond to pull heroics the day of to get some of our DIY spot lighting set up that wasn't set up the night prior. Rob was incredible to work with, and just as fun to chat with. Will miss working with them, but absolutely will be following their journeys and would use them again in a heartbeat! So thankful for Justin and Rob!”

“Helen at Brookledge was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding!! From our very first interaction, the whole team was communicative, helpful, and really kind. The venue itself has a completely magical vibe, and was the perfect space for our forest wedding in the trees. I had originally hoped to get married in the redwoods in CA, but the The Camp Chapel (one option for a ceremony space) was the absolute next best thing. Helen went above and beyond throughout the weekend (even printed my updated vows last minute!!) to ensure everything ran smoothly, and everyone's attention to detail made our wedding day feel more magical than we could have ever dreamed of!! We are so grateful to Helen and the whole Brookledge team -- if you love glamping and want to get married in the trees -- THIS IS THE VENUE FOR YOU!! 1000/10 recommend!
