We took on a lot of planning ourselves, and hired Rina to be our day of coordinator--or really month of coordinator--and out of all of our planning decisions, hiring Rina was one of the best decisions we made. Ahead of our first call, we sent a long document outlining the ideas we had--which she looked through and gave us useful feedback on as we considered what support we needed most. We had some unique ideas for how to do things our own way--and it was also clear from our conversation, that while Rina knows how to do a "textbook" wedding--she also knows how to listen to clients to help them make their unique vision a reality, even if that requires some creative thinking, crafting, or problem solving. When we did our venue walkthrough a month before the event, we sent Rina another long document, floorplan, and schedule the day before--and she once again arrived familiar with all of it. She had crucial suggestions, important questions we hadn't thought of, and proved again she was the right person to help us get prepared for the big day. That pattern repeated once more at rehearsal which was very efficient! The day of our wedding, Rina was punctual, professional, and in expert control running the show we had put together. She had already connected with all of our vendors, reviewed all the decorations we designed and how they set up, and was fully familiar with the timeline. When the inevitable surprises popped up, she was quick to roll with the punches--in a way that kept our plans on track! The entire event was not just beautiful, unique, and exactly the vibe we had envisioned--but it was also EXACTLY ON SCHEDULE, from set up to the paper lantern send off at the end! We are thoroughly impressed, and can't recommend Rina highly enough! She was our not so secret weapon. Let her be yours too! And make no mistake, while we had Rina as our month-of-coordinator--we would have absolutely hired Rina to take on the entire thing if we hadn't enjoyed planning so much (and even then, we couldn't have finished the plans without her input!). I will also say, having planned so much ourselves, it really made it very personal to us that the schedule we made, the decorations we crafted, and the timeline we envisioned were faithfully executed. It was so personal, that I thought it would be hard to hand off our cherished plan to someone else. Who could know it as well as us or care as much? But every conversation with Rina made letting go easy, because it was so clear she was listening to us, and understanding us. There is no one else we would've trusted with our plan except Rina.

When I'm not being a boss bitch on wedding days, I love to thrift shop, go paddle boarding, watch true crime, get tattoos and travel.

After our initial call with Meghan, my (now) husband and I knew that we needed to hire her for our wedding. She spoke with a lot of confidence and experience, and her energy was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding coordinator. In the planning stages, Meghan responded to emails promptly if we had any questions, and her planning guide and recommended vendor directory were so helpful in keeping us organized throughout the planning process. We booked many of the vendors from that directory, and the day came together so well because of the cohesiveness of all the vendors. The wedding day itself is where Meghan really shined. She got to our venue early and checked in to see how everything was going, and then immediately got to work.The ceremony and reception spaces were set up exactly how we imagined they would be, and set up was so ahead of schedule that we were even able to start the ceremony 15 minutes early because there was a threat of rain in the area. Throughout the reception, Meghan also checked in to make sure everything was going exactly how we wanted. And at the end of the night, she packed up all of our decor and organized the cleanup so we were out of the venue in a flash and off to our after party back at the hotel. I cannot emphasize how much Meghan went above and beyond, not just for my husband and me, but also for our guests, going as far as to get a toothpick from her car for one of our guests. With Meghan running the show, we were able to relax and fully enjoy our wedding day with our friends and family and not worry about a thing, because we knew she had everything under control. Run, don’t walk, to book her for your wedding!

She had planned a mini surprise for my best friends to come and see me before I got married which was very special. I thank Katrina for making my wedding a memorable one and even though it wasn’t traditional because of covid, she was still able to bring out what I had envisioned for my covid-19 wedding. Her quality of service was superb and I highly recommend.

We hired Michelle as a month-of-coordinator for our wedding and honestly went in to it expecting more of a day-of coordinator to organize the family and friends that were helping with setup for the wedding. However, Michelle quickly became an indispensable part of our wedding planning and actively went above and beyond what we could have imagined. She was so kind, patient, and incredibly on the ball during the whole process. I cannot recommend her enough. When the month started, she immediately took over the email communications with all of our vendors and solved problems before we even knew they existed. She always asked the right questions and made sure to keep us on track in the final stages of planning. During the rehearsal, she was so helpful with our family and friends that had never rehearsed for a wedding before. On the day of, Michelle was incredible. I cannot recommend her enough. She was in charge of the decorations for the entire reception area (pictured) and did a fantastic job. She was always there to make sure we knew what the next step was (from picture time to first dance to last call on the photo booth). I truly did not have to worry about a single thing with Michelle there. She even made sure that my husband and I had a moment to ourselves after the ceremony. I didn't have to ask for it, Michelle just knew that we needed it. Thank you so much, Michelle!!!

We’ve said it many times during the wedding planning process and we’ll continue to shout it to the hills: hiring Kristy and her team was the best decision we’ve ever made and the best money we’ve ever spent. From the consultation and throughout the entire process Kristy was lovely to work with and incredibly friendly and personal but also always on top of everything. She flagged so many little details that we never would have thought of but led to a much smoother wedding day. Her detailed resources, templates, and documents were invaluable, but she was also flexible when I needed to make my own spreadsheets to keep everything straight in a way that worked with my brain. The timeline she created for us was a work of art and a thing of beauty and something I could have never done on my own. She included every single facet of the event from load in and load out for every vendor down to when we needed to bring our checkbook. Handing communications with vendors to her team in the last few months was amazing and definitely reduced our stress levels. While the timeline was delayed (due to another vendor), Kristy pivoted quickly and ensured that things got back on track and as close to the plan as possible. When we changed our mind on things mid-wedding (like if we wanted a more formal send off) she ensured that it was actually what we wanted but then changed to accommodate it. She also organized tear down of all the decor so that all we had to do was show up the morning after to pick up our belongings. As a queer couple, one of whom is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, Kristy and her team made us feel welcomed and affirmed for the entire process while vetting vendors to make sure they were LGBT friendly and listing our (and our wedding party’s) pronouns on resource sheets so that the whole vendor team was aware and misgendering was as limited as possible (and never by Kristy or her team). She (or a team member?) also recommended many amazing vendors to us including our amazing DJ who had the exact vibe we wanted (gay pop dance party) and ensured the dance floor was full and everyone loved the music choices. Kristy led our rehearsal like a (very nice) drill sergeant, which made it so much more efficient and effective than others I’ve been a part of. The ceremony went off without any major hitches and everyone (including 13 wedding party members, both of our parents, our officiant, and us) knew where they needed to be and when to do what. I was incredibly impressed and super grateful. It also ensured that I didn’t need to think or worry about the little details like making sure seats were reserved and that people started walking at the right time. My only regret is that we didn’t have the budget to have her team plan our rehearsal dinner as well. That experience versus the day of the wedding was a huge contrast. On the day of, I could answer every question with “ask Kristy” and she would always have the answer. As a very anxious and “type A” person I fully trusted Kristy and her team throughout the process which was wonderful for my sanity. I was able to offload all the thinking and logistics onto her and her team and be much more present at my wedding with my now wife and friends and family. Photos by Abby Carissimo.

Penderview Events truly went above and beyond to make our day PERFECT. As a DIY and meticulous bride, we knew Anna was the one we would entrust with our vision the moment we had our phone consultation; she was so incredibly sweet and enthusiastic about our big day, and I immediately felt a sense of ease that she will be able to handle all the shenanigans and i can pass her the torch with ease. Although she was hired for "day of", she assisted us in any way possible months leading to and made sure we were on top of all the important tasks leading up to the day of (i.e. vendors contact info, finalizing timeline for the morning/day of, etc.). My big day unfortunately started off disastrous (I became car sick), so I was unable to give guidance with the decor during set up. But since one of the tasks Anna asked me weeks prior was for a list with all the decor and how/where I wanted them placed, Penderview legit made my vision come true!!!!!!!! Penderview was so attentive, that they were even able to place some items which I gave no instructions for (i.e. last minute decided that we wanted wedding party to sit during the ceremony, so I made name placement cards for the reserved chairs, and without mentioning it, they were placed on the chairs in processional order). Penderview was able to execute every event and details on the timeline FLAWLESSLY, and I was able to enjoy the event with ease knowing that everything was in such capable hands. We felt and saw how invested Penderview was throughout the day in making it perfect for us, especially the attention to details and handling all the logistics smoothly behind-the-scenes. I also really appreciated Anna’s assertiveness when hiccups would arise (ie, making sure guests wouldnt be walking in while were ready down the aisle/stay out of view, wedding party prioritized drinking and forgot to come back for portraits; flower girls kept running infront of camera during portraits, and so many other headaches i did not want to deal with, etc.) Not only was Anna able to accomplish and execute my vision beyond expectations, but she was also my emotional support and my right-hand lady, making sure I was always hydrated. Anna’s empathetic and kind demeanor made her feel more like a close friend than just a ‘day of coordinator’. Hiring Penderview was the best investment we made. Thank you so much for making our day magical and we will forever be grateful to Penderview!!!

Hands down one of the best decisions I made for my wedding two weeks ago. I worked with Christina from O’Neil Events and she was truly exceptional. My family, friends, my husband, and I are still talking about how resourceful, thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely caring she is. There really aren’t enough words to capture the magic she brought to our day. I booked partial planning about six weeks before the wedding, and to be honest, I was overwhelmed with last-minute guest changes and all the small details. Christina and her assistant stepped in seamlessly and took over in the best way. They coordinated everything, helped set up and pack up all of our items, checked in on my family, kept everything organized, and made sure the entire day flowed effortlessly. The weather was beautiful but incredibly windy, and as I was walking down the aisle, my veil actually flew off. I felt so vulnerable in that moment, and Christina calmly caught it and gently placed it back on me without missing a beat. It was such a small gesture, but it meant everything. Later in the day, she even helped me with my feet when my heels were killing me. I’m honestly a little embarrassed she had to do that, but it just speaks to how kind, quick-thinking, and genuinely caring she is. A true lifesaver. Everyone still can’t stop talking about how amazing the wedding was. Some of my family and friends had previously had bad experiences with wedding planners, but Christina completely changed their perspective. Drew from Dapper Retriever coordinated a wedding recently at our venue and everyone (the couple, the guests, and the vendors) had a great experience. It was instantly clear, by his laser sharp communications, attention to detail, organizational skills, and his enthusiasm, that Drew would be great to work with. Sometimes coordinators are stylish and friendly, but lack experience and the ability to make things happen seamlessly.
