“I hired Johnnie to plan a baby shower for my best friend. She was so instrumental when it came to bringing my vision to reality and helped elevate my vision further with her ideas and resources. She was able to source everything that we needed, with a mix of cost-effective party elements and high-end party elements where it counted. She also is an extremely talented floral designer, so it was nice to not have to outsource another vendor for that. The day of, she was at the venue early to make sure everything was set-up perfectly, then broke down/cleaned up everything when we were done with the luncheon. “I genuinely do not even know where to begin when it comes to Noelle because there are not enough words to explain how incredible she is. From the VERY beginning of my wedding planning process over a year ago, she handled absolutely everything and more. Any thought, question, idea, concern, crash out, or micromanaging moment I had (and trust me… there were MANY), I could text or call her at literally any time, and she was always there. She found almost all of my vendors, and every single one of them was phenomenal. The amount of compliments I still receive from guests weeks and months later about how beautiful, organized, and seamless my wedding was honestly speaks for itself. But what REALLY blew me away was wedding day itself. When I tell you I did not have a single worry in the world, I mean it. Noelle and her team handled EVERYTHING. She was genuinely a rockstar from beginning to end. At one point she literally did my late night McDonald’s run herself while her assistants stayed behind making sure me, my bridal party, and my family had everything we needed. Who does that?! That level of care is so rare. She treated my wedding like it was just as important to her as it was to me. Not only did she become my wedding planner, but over this past year she truly became someone so special to me and my family. My family and friends could not stop complimenting her professionalism, kindness, work ethic, and calming presence. I literally had my mom’s friends texting me asking for her information because they were so blown away by her. Noelle made wedding planning FUN. She made it exciting instead of stressful. Honestly, she makes me want to plan another wedding tomorrow just to work with her again. I’m truly going to miss our hours-long meetings spent perfecting every little detail because it all paid off in the most unbelievable way. I can confidently say my wedding would NOT have been what it was without her. She gave me the wedding of my dreams and more, and I will forever be grateful that I trusted her to guide me through one of the biggest moments of my life. “Our venue required a day-of coordinator, which at first we were unsure about as a general idea, thinking we "didn't need one" (ha), but we'd do it because we had to. I had a call with Ashley, who I could immediately tell was the realest and most down to earth coordinator, just what we needed. We had general visions of our day, and Ashley was terrific about guiding us on how to make it all seamless, without ever pushing us towards any particular decision, just always listening to what we personally envisioned and telling us exactly how to make it happen in the most uncomplicated, budget-friendly, yet classy ways. We had phone calls at different intervals all the way from starting planning, to the week of the wedding, which kept us on track and saved us from forgetting time-sensitive tasks. Ashley did a lot of the communication with our vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. When Ashley shared that she would not personally be the coordinator on our wedding day, she set up a video call with Nadia, who would also be assisted by Katherine, so that we would be as comfortable as possible. Nadia and Katherine did an incredible job day-of, to the point that I'm certain I must have missed some sort of chaos that I still don't know about, because everything seemed to go completely perfect and stress-free from my and my husband's perspective. My husband and some family members (mostly guys, for what it's worth...might not have understood the "vision") brought and set up a lot of the decor in the morning, but my husband shared that Nadia and Katherine were wonderful about making things really come together. Our entire process with Plume & Pearl, and especially our wedding day, was purely joyful and low-stress thanks to the team, and I can't imagine doing this without them!”

“Tara and her team are nothing short of incredible. We approached her in the fall with the crazy idea to throw a music festival wedding at the end of June at a riverside park- where we needed her to coordinate 3 bands AND bring in everything from restroom trailers to a food truck to mobile bartending. Not only did she rise to the challenge, but the day was more perfect than we could have ever imagined. She had a plan (and back-up plan!) for everything, and she coordinated with no less than 15 vendors to make sure that we didn’t have to worry about a thing during the wedding. She had a ton of local vendor suggestions, as well, for everything from flowers to misting fans. On top of that, she is a truly lovely human who was a JOY to work with. “Hiring Johanna (and the whole JLM team) for our wedding was the second best choice I've ever made - only to be beat out by the decision to marry my husband! Johanna and her team were absolute rockstars from over a year out until the very last moment. If you are thinking of hiring her, just do it. It was the biggest help to have someone to guide us and tell us all of the things we needed to do and when we needed to do them. She was extremely thorough and made our wedding day seamless. So seamless, in fact, that we barely saw her on the actual day because she was so busy making everything come together.
